ok I have some confessions to make

1. I thought Kanon was in PasuPare
2. I wondered why Maya was in the game (I didn't know she was in a band)
3. I played on EX even though I couldn't even do Hard
4. I only liked Roselia
5. I hated Sayo with a passion (how could I?)
6. Rimi was my best girl when I started playing
7. Only played when my friend asked me to (even though I found the game myself)
8. Thought Tsugumi wasn't in a band either

so those are all the things I did/thought when I first played.

they're not going to be performing a lot of songs but i'm so stoked to see them a) perform double rainbow live b) be in double rainbow live outfits and c) perform. because popipa is just amazing

got "inspired" by a post where someone pulled and got two hagumis in one pull. and so, a certain bad decision was made and 2500 jewels suddenly appeared and were just as abruptly chucked into the abyss. rainbow glowsticks appeared, my heart jumped out of my chest–

then came hii-chan! hii-chan loves me apparently! i love her too! really feeling the afterglow love lately. despite the realization that i have failed thrice now at pulling hagumi rate up cards, no amount of crippling depression can change overcoming bandori's infamously bad rateup odds! besides, just who can resist himari's lovely buns ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) her trained card is just the cutest!

Will I finally stop procrastinating on this? Hopefully.

Day 10: Favorite HHW Character

Okay. Lemme stop for a second so I can apologize.

So far I have one definitive favorite from each band and they occupy the top spots. Popipa has Kasumi, Aglow with Ran (with Tsugumi not too far behind), PasuPare with Hina and Roselia getting two in the forms of Yukina and Sayo. Even RAS has a girl with Rokka-chan dethroning Ran for third spot.

But.... I actually don't have a favorite for Hello Happy World.

It's not like I hate them. Far from it, in fact!

And that is a bit of a key issue here.

I love all of HHW and I feel as if it would do injustice if I put one girl above the rest of the band. It's just in the nature of HaroHapi that they are all winners to each other and that having fun is the best prize. After all, their overall goal is to bring smiles to the world.

Now that I say that, there is one in particular that truely resonates this...

Kitazawa Hagumi

Yep. That's right.

HAGUMI is my vote for favorite HHW character. Not Kaoru, not Kanon, not Kokoro or Misaki, Hagumi.

You may ask why I would put a girl that is nothing more other than a Hoshizora Rin clone as best HaroHapi.

So I would start off with this:

HAGUMI IS NOTHING LIKE RIN AND VICE VERSA.

We good?

Okay, lets continue.

Hagumi is a very unique girl in her own right. She is pretty stupid and joins Kaoru and Kokoro as a member of San Baka. She sometimes failed tests and repeatedly sought the help of other students, particularly Misaki.

Despite her stupidity, she does have a massive EQ rating and is shown to be very athletic. Those traits allowed her to be the Captain of Hanasakigawa's Softball Team, which really shows how much the team trusts her despite her continued idiocy.

A childhood friend of Kasumi, she and Kokoro hangs out with her a lot during off hours and sometimes gets into shenanigans that would most likely lead them to dealing with a very angry Sayo more times than she could count. She still keeps that smile and values her friends more than anything.

Though, she has good reasons for that...

The reason that she is so loyal to her friends is because she sees them as family. They encourage her to move forward, to march towards the future with a smile. They would praise her, criticize her in ways where she could get better, and be there with her in times of need.

Things she wished her own parents would do.

Hagumi's relationship with her parents... isn't great. Even though she tries so hard to get their attention and approval, she still gets the cold shoulder. Only her brother cares for her.

Tbh, I really wish that we get more events involving Hagumi's parents.

But regardless of her relationship with her parents, Hagumi still takes on life with a big smile. I love those sorts of girls who still remain strong even if things are against them.

Hopefully we get more events where we look deeper into Hagumi's relationship with her parents and her brother. She really needs those sorts of events bc they are filled with angst.

Anywho, please don't sleep on Hagumi! She's a good girl! uwu

Day 15: Favorite Origin Story:

PasuPare story have the perfect message of how you need to be yourself instead of being something that you aren't, likewise of how not only hard work can take you to success if you don't put a real effort in it other than momentary interests, all girls learn a lot of their experiences and grow splendidly as a characters, idol stories never wasn't my favorites, but PasuPare story is certainly one of the best that I've seen.
