Hey all. So this isn’t Bandori related, but this is school related.

For my finale paper in one of my classes, my professor wants us to make a poll about any topic we choose. Mine is smoking ads and how they’re targeting or pandering to a specific race. If it won’t trouble anyone too much, I’d very much like it if you take the time participate in my poll. Uh, if any of you were actually looking forward to see who I ship, I'm sorry to disappoint. Therefore (because I can?), I'm compiling these two days together.

Note: Whatever I say, don't take it too seriously. Seriously.

So I absolutely love CHU² and PAREO together. We get to see a different side to CHU² when she's with PAREO, who is just adorbs. Do I ship them? Well I don't ship.

I guess I'll just try to get a few stars before the Samurai MayaEve gacha, and then just save for Dreamfest MayaTsugu? I don't even know! There's no point in pulling anymore, I got my last 4☆ in NOVEMBER. And it wasn't even a rate up one, it was Initial Saaya (I love Saaya and that card but... come on)

I just found out I passed my latest English exam with a perfect grade of 1,0 (here in Germany 1 is the best grade and 6 is the worst) and I'm so happy aaa

I knew I was doing well but I thought there were for sure some things I derped on, considering I just rushed through it in record speed lol. after the exam (I was the first one to leave by far, as usual - I write quickly, I don't usually double-check, & either I'm really good or really really bad at the subject matter lol) my prof came up to me and when I told her I found it easy she was like "yeah I can imagine you'd think that" so I thought OH NO I GAVE HER STANDARDS but apparently those were the right standards?? thank you for believing in me Ms McIlwaine

granted the topic was grammar & vocabulary use and. yknow. I'm fluent as can be, thank you internet. but I usually make a dumb mistake at least once in even the easiest of exams so ... aaa I'm glad, I don't think I've ever scored a perfect grade befoooore

I did find a weird glitch though.... After recieving the medal and changing browser it still showed me Kanae is kidnapped after I got the medal...

One of the things I love about Bandori compared to other music franchises is that the catchphrases seem so natural. Characters tend to have a reason for saying them, and it’s not just for a gimmick. Ran’s “same as always” is a shining example—she says it to hide her real feelings sometimes, which is absolutely something people do. Plus, while the phrase is super common, this connection really makes me associate it with Ran now.

Even some of the seemingly weirder catchphrases, like Kaoru’s “fleeting” make sense for the character and are relatable—who hasn’t seen someone use words they don’t know to seem smart? Who hasn’t seen a kid rehearse ways to sound cooler like Ako? As someone who works with teenagers in a library, I can easily imagine one of them coming up with a word like Tsugurific to describe a friend, or trying to come up with a silly slang word to describe situations or things (boppin’).

It just makes these characters feel so real.
