I have committed a national crime by not talking about my absolute favourite 3Star in the entire game. So I'm going to talk about my absolute favourite 3Star in the entire game.
Curtain Call Kaoru. She's beauty, she's grace, we finally got her in a dress.
I have wanted Kaoru in a dress for literal years, considering how nice her character design is, I knew she would look great in a dress and OH BOI DOES SHE LOOK GREAT IN A DRESS. As much as I like the fact that the BanDori girls aren't restricted to wearing Short Idol SkirtsTM 24/7, Kaoru being one of the best examples of this, I always thought it would be nice to see Kaoru in at least a skirt. AND THE CARD DELIVERED.
First of all, the colour scheme. Kaoru looks great in purple. However, with her hair being, well, purple, you can't really give her whatever shade of purple you please, since there's always a possibility that it will look bad in contrast to her hair. The shade of purple which they chose though, a more violetish purple, fits her so well. More Kaoru in purple please and thank you.
If you also take into the fact that they use more grayish blue and darker purples for the details, which mix really well together, you have a MASTERPIECE. The dress? Beautiful. Her hat? Stylish as hell. (Her hat makes it ten times better because it's just so freaking nice. It's so fancy, very Kaoru.)
Let's talk about Kaoru's hair and expression. I live for alternate hairstyles, and especially so when it comes to Kaoru because, plsdontkillme, her default hairstyle isn't exactly my favourite. Her hairstyle in this particular card is so nice. It also fits the style which the rest of the outfit/card is going for, as it certainly looks a bit more old-fashioned, but is very classy and stylish nevertheless. AND HER EXPRESSION. Now, I certainly do not call myself a Kaoru fangirl in any sense. I don't exactly adore this type of expression on any of these idiots with instruments, as it's just not really my type of expression. But this card is an exception. I don't know why, but somehow, it just fits this card very well, and it fits her pose as well. All in all, very Kaoru, very nice.
THE BACKGROUND. THE DETAILS. THE LIGHTING AND SHADING. This is why I consider Curtain Call to be one, if not my absolute, favourite gacha in the entire game, if only because of the fact that its cards are of such high quality. I love the background in this card, if only because it looks like some really fancy theater place. It's white and gold. Which I love. The lighting, which makes it look like spotlights, which fits the setting, is great, and fits our resident theater gal pretty well.
Kaoru? Great character. Curtain Call? Fantastic gacha. Curtain Call Kaoru? Great card. This card? Fleeting. Illseemyselfout.

Day 10: Favourite HaroHapi character
I have a clear favourite in every other band but HaroHapi has to make it hard for some reason. Until very recently Kanon and Misaki were locked in eternal warfare or so I thought, then out of nowhere Hagu showed up unannounced and seized the throne so. That's how it is right now. Is that how it's gonna stay? Who knows but one thing's certain, I'm bursting with love for this girl.
Hagumi isn't the sort of character I'd deem as a fav usually but this development comes right on the heels of my finally watching Hibike!Euphonium and unexpectedly falling for Hazuki Katou so apparently I have a thing for short-haired genki girls who try their best to keep smiling no matter what happens now?
And that pretty much sums up why I love Hagu. She may be one of the sanbaka but she's very emotionally astute and worries a lot about other people's problems and her inability to help them because she'd help everyone if she could, she doesn't like the dog-eat-dog attitude that permeates society . . . not to mention her own family issues. Someone so deeply empathetic is likely susceptible to being overwhelmed by all of that, but Hagu stays positive and is such a fun-loving, joyful ray of sunshine who belongs so perfectly with HaroHapi and their mission that it's easy to forget the hardships in her life. What an amazing girl. Support Hagumi

Day 8: Favourite Roselia character
My baby aaa
Rinko is my second favourite overall and as with Arisa and her tsun-ness, I really appreciate that her social anxiety is portrayed as a serious issue she has to grapple with and she’s not just shy and cute for fanservice purposes. She was the character I related to the most for a long time and that’s only debatable now because there’s something of a three-way tie there but that’s for another day.
Like Rinko, I’m super uncomfortable going to events with a lot of people and trying new things, but unlike her I’m usually deterred by that and give up pretty quickly. Rinko doesn’t. It may be scary, it may take her a while to step out of her comfort zone but she’s determined to keep bettering herself and won’t let fear or discomfort stand in her way. Overcoming her anxiety is a huge challenge for her and you can see that, yet she tries so hard because she knows exactly what she wants and has the iron will to see the battle through.
That’s what I’m drawn to. I love that in spite of her shyness she can be very self-possessed and isn’t easily swayed. When she’s in her element nothing can stop her and the moment someone dares to hurt her friends? She’ll hunt them down, Garupa Pico style!—no but she will defend her friends with everything she’s got. The last Rinko-centric event on JP made me super emotional even though I only got the gist of it because I’ve been in her situation before, and she persevered where I eventually threw in the towel. She inspires me so much. It’s kinda like “If she can do it despite having a harder time than you, why can’t you you big dumb”
Rinko is brave and talented and hard-working and kind and perceptive as heck what a good girl
