There seems to be very few people that like Merm4id and that makes me a little sad…
I decided to translate the first episode of their band story, since most people probably can’t read those.
My Japanese is far from being perfect, so tell me if you see any mistake, but I think I at least got the main idea of the story!
Rika : Uuh I want a break… Yesterday was too much
Marika : I’m here! Hey, Rikachi!
Rika : Hello, Marika. Today’s not any better…
Marika : You don’t look so good… and I almost slept through all of the lecture. I guess it’s because of yesterday’s all-nighter isn’t it?
Rika : And on top of that, we have a lecture first thing in the morning. I shouldn’t have done an all-nighter… I still came to school, but now I want to go home…
Marika : You’re a nice kid Rika. I guess today’s lecture couldn’t be helped. What do you want to do now?
Rika : I think I should just go back and sleep… But Marika, don’t you have a modelling job later?
Marika : Yes. I’m shooting for a fashion magazine today. When it’ll be done, I’m planning to get something sweet.
Rika : Good idea!
Rika : I want to do something really special too… Like have fun on a tropical island!
Marika : Seems great! A tropical island…
Rika : I never traveled, but living in a tropical country must be the best!
Marika : Yeah! I’d love to live like that.
Rika : I’d love to do that someday, but I’ll probably never have the chance… Ah!
Marika : What is it?
Rika : It seems like an impossible dream, but maybe it really can be done! Marika, look at this flyer! They are looking for a DJ to play at a resort hotel on an island!
Marika : Let me see… [ The contest winner will be hired as an exclusive DJ at the new clubhouse of the hotel. ] Working while living in a resort hotel? That seems great!
Rika : We have to do this! Together, of course!
