Happy Birthday Nanami!!

I know I haven't posted in a while (you can thank school for that :D), but I had to say something on here for one of my best girls :)

I've loved Nanami a whole lot, ever since I read the Monika band story when it came out on JP. She's very relatable when it comes to remembering the weirdest things too lol

I was going to draw Nanami in her crystal card outfit to celebrate, but sadly I only managed to finish the lineart :( I hope you still accept it, Nanami!

Howdy hey! I’m chi-chi (that’s case sensitive), but I also go by MasuRei (subtle, I know)! I thrive off seeing characters that have literally no correlation to each other / are from different series interact!

I first got into BanG Dream! around 2019, discovering the franchise through Funimate, and created a Endori account under the name “chi-chi”. Back then, Misaki was my best girl, but using context clues, you can probably determine that that’s changed…

A few months after playing the game, I watched the first season BanG Dream! anime, and I was absolutely in love.

Sometime between that whole mess, I ended up discovering that there was a version of the game ahead of the one I had, releasing a band going under the name “Morfonica”. Curious, I did some deep diving, and after several minutes (if not hours) of typing and researching, I was finally able to get my hands on a JPdori account.

At this point, I have thrown myself head first into a hole I would never be able to get out off.

I watched the last two seasons of the anime, and…“loved” would honestly be an understatement. I made drawings of the characters, tried to get better at the game to the point where I got so bored of it I deleted it for a long while, almost a year! And I loved. Masuki. don’t tell a soul, but she ended up being the first female character i’ve ever simped for

Throughout the past one and a half years of interacting with the franchise, I’ve viewed a live RAS concert (virtually, because COVID), started learning Japanese purely because of the series, bought a ticket for Episode of Roselia, and, not to toot my own horn, have gotten pretty good at rhythm games, if I do say so myself.

I found this website not too long ago when a Scratch friend brought it up. Since then, I have sort of been stalking this website, looking for a good reason to join (I have commitment issues). But then…it appeared.

Like an angel decending from the Heavens, the RASpreciation tag appeared, and I knew I had to join this website to add my two cents.

So here I am, MASKING-Baby, MasuRei, chi-chi, ready to share my love for Bandori with those on this website.

Outside of Bandori, I really enjoy writing (if you couldn’t tell), and have recently become an avid Smash Bros. player (Belmont / Cloud / Sephiroth / Terry / [possibly] Kazuya mains, where you at? [no, I will NOT be narrowing this down]). I also play Brawl Stars, enjoy drawing, anime, as well as watching Youtubers like Scott Cramer and Alex Meyers. While I already stated I’m learning Japanese, I also play piano and like making piano Bandori arrangements (whether I play them is another thing)!

I’m excited to interact with those in this mini community, it’s my pleasure to be here!

Hi. So, I have some pretty awesome news for you guys. As of today, I've realized that I'm Eve's best girl.

And you might be thinking, did I mean to say Eve's MY best girl? And to this I say no, no I did not.

Eve is the only character that's come home more than once. She's the only character I have a dupe of, she came home twice during my best girl TOMOE'S birthday gacha, which I'll chalk up to her trying to prove she's more loyal than Tomoe, and finally, she's every single card that wasn't a 2* in this pull.

Also I GOT WEDDING EVE AHHHHHHHH, and even though I SAID i wanted Kasumi, Eve is still gorgeous.

Eve has my 3rd or 4th favorite character design in the whole game, and even though she was never in my Top 10, I have to acknowledge that she's always been there for me with a 4*. Eve thinks I'm pretty Bushido, I'd say. Sorry any Eve fans, I guess I just stole ya girl ;) nah jk, but it's pretty crazy that so many 4*'s of mine are Eve's! Thank you Eve, very Bushido indeed.
