Alright everyone! For Day 1 of Bandtober, I am proud to present BonTekuno!!

This is the most time I’ve ever spent on one drawing before . . . gosh . . . (Anyways it was totally worth it, especially because I tried to use Bandori’s style and it suits them way better than my style does!)

Now for the band’s introduction:

BonTekuno is a techno band with a goal of showing the world that truly anyone can make music-- after all, their band is made out of Haneoka’s former bully, a homeschooled chef, an “eco-friendly weirdo,” a chosen-to-be loner who thinks everybody is her senpai, and a geeky programmer.

And now the characters from left to right because I forgot to make little introduction things below them:

Ichika Wakara (Dr.) - Kona Sakuri (Ba.) - Oro Kimine (Vo.) - Nigira Okaa (Gt.) - Shiro Ayoni (DJ)

Anyway, that’s it for today! I’m super excited to keep working on this challenge, and I’ll see y’all tomorrow!

Edit: I forgot to mention why they’re called BonTekuno! Here it is from the document:

The original name of the band in their story was DJam, because their music is techno and so it was mostly revolving around Shiro. They got lots of feedback on this, mostly negative, because people believed that Shiro shouldn’t get all the attention and also because they thought that it wasn’t catchy and unique enough.

But then, after the first time they performed in the BonTraveler restaurant (Nigira's family's restaurant), Nigira had no words as to how amazing their performance sounded, and she could only get out, “Bon. Bon techno!” And that’s when they decided to name the band BonTekuno (Bon is “good” in French, and Tekuno is “techno” in Japanese.)

Edit edit: Forgot to mention that Nigira is French-Japanese and that's why she was speaking in French lmao

"Hey~! Kira Shirosaki's here on the scene! Finally, it's been too long since a main Rumenise update! It's been a long while... uh... How long..? Almost 8 months ago?! What has Kaiton been doing for two thirds of a year-?! Alright, calm down... It's all in the past... What matters is the present!"

"You might have already guessed why I'm here, but Chapter 3 'One Step Forward' of Rumenise's Band Story 1 is finally complete! No second chapter though. I know Avian's got theirs releasing two chapters at a time, but considering the large gap between our last chapter... The main focus is showing that Rumenise hasn't been forgotten as soon as possible, not at all! So please, enjoy and look forward for more in our future!"

For drawing practice I decided to draw @-ChomamaLi- ‘s original band, BonTekuno! I actually drew everyone in the band but for some reason my iPad isn’t letting me post more than one picture so this will have to do for now. Once again, 1st October marks the start of Garupa's Halloween festivities! So, everyone's new Halloween lines! My treat!

Misaki's image is listed as IMG_4444 on my phone. It still surprises me whenever I think about how I've been doing this for over a year. I change, environments change but the core stays, and I'm not stopping anytime soon! See you next time in December with both Winter and Christmas!

my friend and I got to talking about the shuffle band election BanDori had, and ended up doing the same to ARGONAVIS. it was too good not to share. behold, the bands we came up with:
