Dear Hikawa Sayo,
I honestly can't believe I am writing this right now because throughout my whole life I actually never written anything for a person I cared for. Hell, I basically do nothing on Valentines because I really don't see the purpose of such a day.
But alas, I am writing this love letter in honor of you. Because you are my Valentine.
That last sentence actually made me laugh especially since my dorky looks wouldn't even match with your beauty. Not to mention that I would also probably get canceled by the entire Roselia fan community.
Whether you wish to reciprocate my feelings or not, that is entirely up to you. You are an independent girl who can make her own decisions and has the resolve to solve much of Roselia's issues. I never seen such cold beauty before in my life.
Of course, though, you have your own issues.
Your sister in particular.
You constantly sulk in corners of the street whenever someone compares you to Hina, sometimes out during violent rainstorms even. You try so hard to be the better sister but far too many times you have failed.
But Sayo. Here is what I like most about you.
You are your own person.
Of course there are many great Guitarists, some even greater than either you or your sister. But there is only one Sayo. Only one Sayo who would still care for Ako while still trying to push her hard to Roselia's standards. Only one Sayo who would refuse to kneel at the face of harassment.
Just one Sayo. And that Sayo is you.
If you are probably crying (which I doubt because I don't trust my writing or literary skills), then it's okay to cry. Even I cry in times of emotional stress and far too many times I found myself as an emotional mess. But maybe that's what we have in common.
So even if you don't love me, let me be that shoulder to cry on or simply that person to tell you to turn to your friends for assistance. And if you want to talk to me, I will do my hardest to make time to talk. I may not give the best advice, but even if I seem distracted, I am a good listener.
You can come see me whenever you wish. Just remember that in my eyes, you are my special someone, Sayo.
