Alright. The time has finally come for me to say . . .
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ARISA!!!!!!!!
Before I get to your birthday speech appreciation letter-esque thing, I'm just going to talk about the drawings a little bit! (And one other thing which I'll get to afterwards.)
The first one took . . . so long . . . and it had so many layers that Procreate crashed every five seconds, and it had the messiest sketch on the face of the planet, and it was incredibly difficult to line, and my stylus is breaking which makes it cut out in the middle of a paint stroke, and the pose was super hard to draw, and the outfit was really hard because it's so complicated, but. I did it because I love Arisa, and every last second was worth it. All seven hours of it. This is definitely the most complex (or just detailed, or time-consuming, whatever) drawing I've ever done and I've gotta say, I'm super proud of it!
The second one was quicker, and I cut out a lot of the details because I was getting frustrated with how the ruffles looked, but like Tsubame said earlier, this Arisa costume is just so amazing I love it-- (She does look a bit off in this drawing though, which I'm frustrated about--)
And finally a lil' chibi! Who doesn't love chibis--
yes. i took the easy way out and did her school uniform instead of another detailed costume hehehehehehe
And the other thing: I was going to do a cover of Su-Suki Nanka Janai, and I recorded the audio or anything, but a lot of things happened and it got really messed up and I spent hours on it but it just didn't turn out. But that's okay, because I didn't want to share my voice on here anyway, because I sound very young and I'm not great at singing and I was literally shaking when I thought about posting it tonight, before everything went wrong. Plus, I'm an alto, and it was really hard to sing the song. I kept having to go into 'head' voice asdfghjklsdfghjk
Alright, now for the speech.
Arisa is the most amazing character I've ever met in any fandom. At first I didn't really care for her when I was first getting into the Bandori franchise, and instead payed more attention to the 'cute' ones like Kanon and Hagumi (don't worry Arisa, you're adorable. Oops-- don't get mad at me for saying that!) And uhhhh I've said this a billion times but,,,, you know,,,, the voice acting thing,,, (where I got cast as her and then tried to learn more about her so I could figure out how to play her, yada yada, I'm sure you've all heard the story at some point.)
Okay, I'm just going to tell the rest of the story. Most of you have probably heard it, but whatever. This is for Arisa :)
Then, when the Arisa's "Not Bad" Day Off event came out, I completely changed my mind about Arisa. I understood that she was just like me-- a socially awkward girl who doesn't know how to talk to people. Obviously she's so much more than that, but that was a huge starting point for me.
At the time, I wasn't a fan of tsundere characters, but as time went on and I read more of her card stories and the event stories with her in it and all of that stuff, I came to like her tsundere-ness. And, in a way, it's sort of like me. (I'm not grumpy/annoyed and then caring on the inside, I'm more like not-caring on the outside and caring on the inside, which is basically Arisa as well.)
Basically, after the Not Bad Day Off event, she blasted to first place. I always find something new to love about her, whether it's how she sacrifices so much for her friends or her sweet relationship with Kasumi that shows she really does care, like in the anime when Arisa was upset that Kasumi didn't eat lunch with her like they promised.
If I were to continue talking about Arisa, I'd probably have something really really really long, so I'm probably going to cut it off around here. One final word to Arisa:
You are amazing. You are beautiful. You are wonderful. You are Arisa Ichigaya. Keep on being you <3

Day 18 through Day 25 - Favorite Cover Songs
did this the same way as the last one! too many words ahead!

glamorous sky and days just really really highlight kasumi's voice... and they make me feel, nostalgic? even though i had never heard them before bandori! and romeo and cinderella is just a good song :) kasumi's voice is so rich in it!

asu no yozora shoukaihan was a favorite song of mine wayyy before i heard afterglows cover, and its just an amazing song for afterglow and for ran's voice!!!! so nice!! and those high notes! ama no jaku also has verrry nice high notes, and i feel like its just such a nice song for ran, people complain about her straining on the high notes but it just sounds so... raw! in a good way! and its mildly concerning for her voice sure but, its not like shes a performer who has to sing this every few days! moving on roki is just suuuuper catchy. its a bop.

;_; secret base... i love anohana and pasupare's cover is just so sweet and emotional and arhrghfdgjkgksj. wonderful. aya has such a sweet sounding voice... and oh my god, kanade. kanade is the song i want to point people to when they say they dont like aya's voice. theres parts where she's using a more powerful voice, and a wonderful part near the end where it just sounds so emotional and pretty and Q_Q her voice is just lovely and so gentle... im begging you to give kanade's full version a listen PLEASE.
also i consider kanade an ayachisa song, i mean what?i'll shut up about aya's voice now- AAAAND luka luka night fever is just so upbeat and catchy and i liked it before pasupare's cover!! -
i dont have strong opinions on roselia's covers, sorry! they just sound really nice! i liked six trillion years before i got into bandori in the first place, and miiro too. yukina's got such a powerful voice!

OF COURSE i had to put romeo!!! of course! do i even have to explain? to summarize, kaoru voice hot. go!go! manic is just catchy! and shanghai honey.. misaki and kaoru sound so good together, especially the rapping parts!

no particular feelings about the last row.. tentai kansoku is just very pretty! i havent listened to more of ras/morfonica's covers honestly :/

Day 11 through Day 17 - Favorite Original Songs
OKAY let me explain how i organized it... each band got their own row, but morfonica, ras, and 'other' band got one row altogether because they have less songs! also the challenge only says favorite song from 'other' band overall but im doing both favorite cover and fav original!!

whats the popipa is pretty well-liked, but girls code and watashi no kokoro wa choco coronet are SUPER underrated!!!!!! i really like them both... mae e susume also almost got a place here, as did double rainbow and hello! wink!, but i wanted to give more underrated songs love :3

i LOOOVE afterglows music.. choosing three was HARD.. but if you cant tell i like songs with the other afterglow members voices in them:) comic panic was SOOO CLOSE, i adore it a lot too!!! but i ended up choosing easy come, easy go because... hey, hey, hoh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yall KNOW i was gonna put the ayachisa anthem on there, first and foremost. pretty song, GORGEOUS chisato and aya vocals, nice lyrics, just <3<3<3 ALSO a full version of attsuattsu NEEDS to be released >:( its been over a yearrrrr!!!!! and survivor is just catchy as heck.

roselia was difficult... yakusoku earned a spot j u s t for that one moment near the end where yukina and lisa sing "...yakusoku dayo." together, sososo pretty... blessing chord is wonderful, adore the melody and the members voices, and opera of the wasteland is just so cool!!

music wise, hello happy world is probably my least favorite... but! i realy like kanon, misaki, and kaoru's voices, and i love their christmas song, so it wasnt hard choosing!!!
