I really wanna rank high for some event but I can only ever motivate myself to get the 3*, sometimes only the stamp ... how do you guys do it ... the only reason I got a decent rank in the Mermaid event was because I was always grinding for stars in search of Sayo

when the Umbrella event started I was like "I'm gonna go for top 1k because I love the Hikawas and this set!" and then I didn't even go get the Ako ...

I never even got any event title aside from Mermaid cause once I get the 3* I just. stop. (I don't really care about titles I'm just here for the cards but it kinda makes me sad I have nothing to show ...) so please if you have any tips on motivating yourself to rank, help a girl out

I'm so torn on the EN translation. on one hand, yay for keeping stuff like suffixes (I absolutely despise when translations don't do that, you lose a whole layer of the character, it's an important part of their speech pattern for goodness' sake)! and generally being nice to read. I especially love how they've translated Kaoru. on the other hand ... translating song titles.

first of all, either go hard or go home instead of translating some but not others. second, THAT'S NOT WHAT THE SONGS ARE CALLED. translating a song title is acceptable if you sing it in a different language, but other than that? don't fucking do that. you wouldn't translate, say, English song titles to German so why do it for Japanese?? plus some are just. wrong. it's not just "Star Beat", it's "Star Beat Hoshi no Kodou" (or "Heartbeat of the Stars" if you absolutely have to). it's not "Keep on Moving", "Mae e Susume" means "Move Forward" more than anything. "I-I never said love" is kind of a weird translation of something more like "it-it's not like it's love or anything" (tho tbf that's pretty clunky which wouldn't be a problem if they didn't tRANSLATE IT AT ALL). it drives me up the wALL why would they do this??? they're obviously aware most of their players are already familiar with Japanese at least a little bit and thus JP song titles shouldn't be a problem SO WHY

For the EN New Years event I realized that there are wAY more people who have the Ako New Years cards than the Ran one. I have only seen one person with the Ran card in multi lives and over 25 people with Ako featured cards :O I’m guessing this is because the Ako card is given a higher drop rate percentage? But the ratio of people with Ako cards and the people with Ran cards seems way to uneven 🤔 Thoughts?

Edit: I checked the fixed drop rates and both of them have 0.502 % chance out of all the 4 stars!

I'm planning to get to at least top 2500 on this event, and if I'll have time I might try to get to top 1000. I've just reached rank 40 on my new EN main, by the way.
