(un)popular opinion?
ever since the sad fate in which akesaka satomi unfortunately left the franchise due to sudden hearing loss, (it was hard for to keep on performing concerts and lives) they’ve replaced her with shizaki kanon. i have absolutely no hate on this decision as it was made for the better of akesaka. if you ask me, shizaki kanon has a more of a deep voice which i actually really like, she sounds so sophisticated and beautiful when she sings (especially in blessing chord !! god she sounded amazing). but i’m not the biggest fan on how she sort of like tries to imitate the “original rinko”? if you can get what i’m trying to say.. it’s not that she’s doing a bad job at it, it’s just i like her normal speaking voice not the imitating rinko voice (when i say “imitate” i’m not trying to sound negative just using the term in a neutral way) her normal speaking voice where she isn’t trying to sound like rinko sounds very mature, like rinko which is a nice touch to it (not that akesaka didn’t sound mature in my opinion akesaka made rinko sound more gentle and soft)

couldn’t find the best clips but i think these clips are sufficient enough.. maybe it’s just me but if you played these clips and i didn’t know about rinko, i would’ve said these are two different people, they just don’t sound similar in my opinion, although i’m not angry!! that’s not why i made this, i just wanted to share how i feel. i don’t hate shizaki at all, to be honest i like her parts in the song a tad bit better than akesaka, she sounds so majestic in them i don’t know how she does it
