Happy Birthday (in Japan time zone at least) to the BEST GIRL. Maya was the first idol/band/singing anime girl I ever loved so much, she quickly eclipsed all my past best girls from other series. I love her kindness, her modesty, how well she understands and supports her friends, and of course her passion for music and equipment! I’ve loved seeing her growth from studio musician to idol despite her worries at first! Her desire to be loved and needed for who she is really got to me- and I’m so happy that PasuPare has given her such great friends. I don’t have any nice offerings for her birthday (yet. Maybe I’ll finish something nice enough to share? Maybe) but I’m planning to wear my Effort shirt tomorrow (Nov 3rd here) in celebration. And Maya, thank you for being my first best girl to ever actually come home in a big scout of mine, having your first 4* really makes my EN account feel right and I’ll do my best to save for your cards there from here on out too <3

This SayoTsugu event story is SO PURE and honestly great character development for both girls

i know everyone memes about the three dummies being a bunch of... well, dummies, but i just wanted to say that i love all three of them anyway.

hagumi? my precious orange daughter! i've already talked at length about why i love hagu, but she's a total sweetheart hhh

kaoru? my favorite ikemen character of all time, especially because of her well-executed gap moe. she's adorable and ridiculously kind, despite her flamboyant ouji-sama~ moments and her hilarious misquotes of shakespeare.

kokoro? i love her! she's way more complex of a character than people even give her credit for. she's highly observant, but still such a genuinely good person - it's hard to be so pure when she's filthy rich, y'know? it makes me happy to know she genuinely wants to spread around happiness.

they're just all adorable and even though everyone likes to ignore them in favor of pushing up misaki and kanon for maintaining sanity in the group, i honestly think this iconic trio is what gives hhw its heart. that fun, zany, happy vibe that we all know hhw for wouldn't exist in the way we know it without them. and honestly, that realization for me is what led to my favorites changing as much as they did recently.
