(i have decided to make an awards show for the best cards of the season. i might make more of these in the future dreamfests if people like this. well see. im DEFINITELY not making this because ill go nuts if i dont take a break from tiering and have adhd WHY WOULD YOU THINK THAT. im going to be marking the non-dreamfest categories by events that've taken place very recently, I think in the past month.)

While my Tomoe bias might cause me to think the Tomoe is BETTER, The Chisato is truly art. I first laid eyes on it around 60 seconds ago and I'm already in love. The camerawork and color scheme take it for me.

Yeah, I knew I loved this card the second I saw it. I think a part of me was just WAITING to talk about it. the contrast between her beautifully-styled cyan hair and green eyes with the striking red, while and green on the dress, with the background containing the tree, presents, and a reindeer decoration, and the ROSE PETALS IN THE GLASS SHE'S HOLDING- In my opinion, the best card in the set.

Yeah, Rinko takes it. The candle and the outfit, as well as her shading, are what make her REALLY stand out from the crowd for me.

I almost feel bad. I really didn't think I liked Roselia Christmas that much, and I DIDN'T, I mean I LIKED it but didn't LOVE it. However, the way the entire band is gathered around in Ako's card, through the window, playing games, in the warm lighting, all looking so happy... it gives me that same warmth as listening to old-timey Christmas songs while drinking hot chocolate by a warm fireplace, which is the only lighting for the giant Christmas tree... I can't really DESCRIBE it. Just... magic. I'm willing to hear the argument that Lisa got robbed, and that CHU2's new card got snubbed for the nominee's list entirely (it was #5, trust me), but these are the Festys®. Don't ask questions.

Well, let me just start off by saying, all the nominees have done AMAZING work in the past month. These are all gorgeous cards in their own way. LOCK'S card has a FANTASTIC use of bright colors and combines different art styles in a way that hasn't been done so seemlessly since AKO'S DFv2 IN JULY OF THE YEAR BEFORE. Lisa's card has an absolutely jaw-droppingly GORGEOUS color and lighting scheme, and is the most mature she's EVER looked while miraculously not also being sexualized. Arisa's card is the absolutely perfect balance of maintaining subtlety and bringing things to your attention with how much is going on in both the background and foreground with the border decorating, and the Nanami card captures her personality in a way only a select few DFv2 cards have. While it looks like it's TRYING to be your standard beautiful DFv2 card, Nanami's weird personality can't help shine through with the paint splatters, clashing classiness and creativity perfectly. Any of these cards could win. But only one can.

...And only 1 was ever going to.

Her expression. Her pose. Her outfit. Her hair. The clutter of makeup, perfume, letters, roses, playing cards, and balloons over the checkered and rose-patterned floor. All of it. FANTASTIC. The glasses in her hand are a real standout, too. It's an AMAZING card. Congratulations to all the nominees, but Lisa's won.

THAT'S ALL FOR THE FESTYS! It's amazing how much time this took, as well as what tiering, chocolate, and ADHD can do to my brain. I really took out the time to not only link every single card nominated, but also create COVER ART lmao. See ya'll soon! Seriously, let me know if I should continue doing these. I was going to post this right at midnight but I ended up going to a party and forgot lmao oops. it's still the hour of midnight for me though (currently 12:51) so,,, yeah! Here's to another year of BanPa adventures!

I already struggle to get event cards due to the event period already, I feel like I blink and the event is over already. I hope they don't go through with this. I'll probably uninstall if they do, idk why someone would vote for shorter event periods anyways, I don't see the point of "catching up" to the jp server

while i'm popping in to agree that everyone who decides to take the current survey to do so seriously, the circumstances of events possibly being shortened... isn't to 0.5-2 days worth of total event time; they're referring to shortening it to about 4-5 days (since the shortened events have usually been 6 days), which is still ridiculous as all hell, but it's far from the excessiveness of 2 days.

again, take the survey seriously and give additional feedback about your thoughts on the situation; without resorting to foul language or anything similar since they'll probably ignore it as spam (as you can see by the replies to ENdori's twitter announcement regarding this survey LOL)

Everyone, please, take a moment to answer Endori's new form. They are asking if we want events even shorter (4 DAYS OF EVENT) when they couldn't make the game work properly after shortening the events period. what a joke. So please, READ THE FORM AND ANSWER WITH COMMON SENSE.

It seems that by 0.5-2 days they meant, take another 2 days from the 6 days of event we already have, so that would mean 4 days of event. Kyon-yon explained it here and I want to apologize for giving the wrong information. But english is not my native language and they didn't explain it very well, so... there's no way I would have understood it.

Is it worth to have an unclear event line-up and frequent bugs just for a 4 days event? Is it THAT important to reach JP? Because right now some players can't even login, so why does it matter if we reach JP when you can't even play the game?

Yes, I know I'm kinda pushing my opinion into everyone with this post, but for god's sake, how can you still think that the english version has everything on control????? This is a serious question because I can't see one goddamn good thing in this game since September. It doesn't make sense to me why defend the server that has burried themselves (ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A ANDROID PLAYER).

But if you still think that 4 days event is GREAT for tiering, scouting and that all the in-game bugs, missing covers and inconsistent event line-up is worthy of 4 days event just to reach JP, then go on, I'm not stopping anyone, you have your right to do whatever you want.

To everyone that doesn't have an opinion about it yet, please think very carefully.

and remember we have 5 band stories and 10 LIMITED GACHAS next year, so if you are planning to scout for any of them, good luck and be ready to open your wallet because if they keep up with this, Backstage Pass might come in February and I don't think we'll have enough time to save stars for every wished banner. Don't look to this last part as me trying to convince you, I wrote it more jokingly, even though the numbers are correct. Just take the informations to create your own opinion
