Day 3 is guitarists!! Using Picrews all the time is kinda bland so I'm working on the Key Visual right now. Can't say it's going great but at least I haven't given up yet. Anyways DiviEu also has two guitarists!! (sometimes Miyo switches over to keyboard for songs with piano but she's officially the rhythm guitar so I'll write about her today)

Personality: Soft-spoken, timid, and amiable. She can also be a little skittish sometimes and likes finding the admirable points of people around her. Always does her best not to come off as rude or blunt.

Fun Facts:

• She's not very good at cooking or baking, but likes gardening.

Onwards to day three, today featuring Tricyrtis’s airhead of a guitarist, Yumeru Mizukawa! Also known as Yume, a nickname initially coined by... Kaida? Natsumi? No one actually knows which one started it, but they both call her that.

She’s a pretty crucial part of putting the band together, and the band sure wouldn’t have Kaida in it without her! Or Alice, either. Or the band just wouldn’t exist. Yumeru is pretty important in forming the band. She’s also a rather talented musician, and regularly helps out with composing the music for the band’s songs.

While her memory for music is incredibly tight, if she doesn’t enjoy doing something or have a method to help her pay attention, she’s prone to forgetting it entirely. On her own she’s a bit bad at school due to being so forgetful, but with the help of her friends that’s significantly less of a problem. But it isn’t that uncommon for her to forget little details frequently anyway.

To no one’s surprise, she’s very energetic, although also rather impulsive. She quite often follows random ideas, most to no success. To slow down her own ideas, she took up a handful of time consuming hobbies, although she’s only really stuck with two things, guitar and fashion design. Pretty much every accessory she wears was something she made herself! She also did the majority of the costume designing for the band, although she didn’t actually make them herself. She just did a lot of the work to design them, of course with the input of her bandmates during the process.

Her energy only seems to multiply around Natsumi, so unless you’re ready to deal with two very energetic girls, you’re best off avoiding when it’s just the two of them together. There’s no real danger in it, of course, but they can be pretty overwhelming if you’re not prepared for it.

Also, she just really likes fish! She owns three goldfish herself, but thinks most types of fish are just really cool.

For today’s fun fact(s): she was the last member of the band to be designed, and is also loosely based on my pet goldfish and her weirdness. And thanks to Kaiton in helping to name her back when I was still creating the band!

Alright! I’m kinda late to finishing this and getting a good picture buuuuut~ welcome to the start of my bandtober posts! While I have two oc bands, one is a whole lot less developed as a band than the other. So we’re doing the much more solidly developed one...

Tricyrtis

At first glance, they don’t seem like a very coherent group. There’s a lot of contrasting personalities, and they formed through a bunch of coincidental friendships and skills! Yet there’s one thing that ties them all together: a passion for performing music. As friends, they’re certainly a confusing group, but as a band, they come together to pull off something almost magical.

Anyway yeah, that’s a bit of a dramatic introduction, huh? I’ll be getting into the character details with each of their days over the next few days (or with Alice, it’ll be later today), but I hope y’all will be excited to learn more about them! In the meantime, if you’re interested in learning more, here’s the official Tricyrtis document! It’s a little bit of a mess, I need to remake it honestly, but I hope it works for now :D and if you want to read the start of their band story, it’s linked towards the bottom of the document! I kinda skipped drawing any instruments because guitars are hard to draw (they were the only thing I even considered adding in) and I knew it would make an already long process even longer if I did them so... maybe in the future but not now.

And now for the random fact about the band for the day (I’ll try to do these because I have a lot): Tricyrtis is part of the scientific name for the toad lily! Alice is the one responsible for the band name because she likes plants. Also the color of the flowers are somewhat referenced in the color of their stage outfits here :3

Before singing, she didn't really feel like she was good at or enjoyed anything in particular, so she devotes a lot of her time to music now.

• She is very cranky in the morning and acts like a brat until afternoon kicks in (kind of like my old business tech teacher....)

Personality: Looks nice. Acts nice. Is actually nice. But he can also manipulate you if he wants to. (h-he technically did trick some of them into joining the band but it worked so here we are) He also pretends to be really dense in certain situations but he does, in fact knows exactly what's actually happening. Also likes teasing people (boy i would hate to be friends with this dude)

Fun Fact:

• He has a cat named Nino! She's a chubby gray cat who he adopted a few years ago and is now living with. No it is, in fact not sad that I gave Kazuha's cat a more detailed a backstory than a few of the members of the actual band... I'll get to that later okay...

bandtober day 2 - vocalists

me being a couple of hours late for these is already turning into a trend. I didn't even mean to participate in this one, but I had to ........

I should long be asleep so only bullet points, from left to right, summarising them in very short descriptions:

Saitou Aguri (HOP✩STEP♡DREAM)

• high school 1st yr
• grew up sheltered by overprotective parents
• now living with Kaguya
• inexperienced, shy, doesn't do well on her own, but wants to become more independent

Hiiragi Mae (Sirenity)

• high school 3rd yr (but repeated a year in junior high school and is therefore a year older than the other 3rd yrs)
• main heir of the powerful Hiiragi lineage
• doesn't get along with her parents, considers the staff of the shady karaoke club she frequents as well as Sirenity her family
• arrogant, extremely rude, but naturally very empathetic (though she really does not want to be)

Hanami Ikuto (*KALEIDOSKOPE.)

• university 1st yr, studying music
• very talented songwriter, doesn't care as much about singing
• joined Kaleidoskope late and is now struggling to fill the void Rinto left
• friendly and social, though soft-spoken, has a lot of friendly acquaintances and few close friends

Inoue Rinto (aurora aurea)

• 20yo, works at a radio station
• Kaleidoskope's previous vocalist and songwriter, left them after a falling-out
• plays the bass alongside singing, though he only started doing that with aurora
• eloquent, charismatic, very polite, but manipulative and doesn't care much about others in the grand scheme of things

I'm only doing the main vocalist, since there's three vocalists in this band.

Rhea is an exchange student from Denmark. In school she is verbally harassed for being a foreigner. She is extremely skilled in self defense, and will defend anybody who is being hurt. However, she refuses to defend herself, since she doesn't want to hurt anyone who doesn't physically hurt her.
