well, hey guys! new years huh? 2021. unbelieveable. its passed so fast. its only about 7pm here, so ive got a few hours to go, but ill post this now because ill forget later~
lets not deny it, 2020 sucked for a lot of people. as for me, i have had many high points that were very high but likewise low points that were horribly low. i developed several bad habits this year that i never thought i would but ive also been working to better myself in other ways. i made new friends, strengthened old friendships, got into a relationship which i very much enjoy, had wonderful fun at my new school, but i've also been horribly stressed and bogged down by good ol mental illness, general neuroticism, and increasingly self-destructive tendencies. good or bad, this year has been intense.
things wont change the moment the clock hits 2021. they wont change jan 2, or 3rd, and they may not even be very changed by the time february rolls around, but i believe just being out of this year will be a breath of fresh air for many. optimism, careful optimism is key. i have hope that 2021 will not be as... catastrophic. lets all take a breath!
okay, onto banpa stuff! beyond all that depressing mess.
this is a lovely community. no drama, friendly people, close-knit but welcoming. i appreciate each and every one of you i have ever interacted with, for being so kind and genuine and enthusiastic.
special shout out to the banpamong us server! you guys are super cool. i know im a strange one at times, and im not the most active, but i like you all :) you have made me feel welcomed during a time when i generally dont feel like that. i hope i havent been too much of a black sheep! i really enjoy spending time there.
i dont want to call anyone out specifically so i dont make anyone feel left out, so i'll just say: thank you guys for being here. this is the first online community i have felt not only welcomed in, but a part of. thank you.
