"Little Sisters Are Hard Work"

“What’s she even doing up this late…?” Tomoe mumbles to herself, wrapping her fists against Ako’s bedroom door. All she hears is laughter of a rising and falling pitch.

“Ako, I’m respecting your privacy by knocking, but asserting my authority by coming in anyway—oh, I should’ve brought my battering ram… hm.” Tomoe slaps Ako’s door. The entire frame goes careening into Ako’s room, causing the ceiling to cave-in over her bed.

“Ako, what are you up to?” Tomoe asks, crushing debris beneath her feet while entering the room.

“Help me, Mr. Red Strawberry… it looks like all of my life savings are gone… oh no, teehee…” Ako screeches with glee as she types away on a keyboard, hunched at her computer desk.

“Ako?” Tomoe places a hand on Ako’s shoulder, peering at the very same computer screen.

“O-Onee-chan!” Ako jumps and smothers the screen with her hands. Even so, the outer frame of a man—in a strawberry costume that reveals only his head, hands, and feet—can be seen dancing around.

“Ako, it’s too late. I can still see the donation message. Why did you give your life savings away to this guy, some… some random strawberry?”

“I’m sorry, onee-chan…” Ako hangs her head in shame. “It’s Mr. Red Strawberry, he’s… he’s a red strawberry who dances while streaming and… I just wanted to see him thrive, but now…” Her eyes well with tears.

“It’s okay, Ako. But you know what happens next.”

Tomoe pats Ako on the hand before picking Ako up over her shoulder. She walks over to Ako’s closet and opens it, where a swirling abyss of saturated purple rages. A thousand tormented wails spill out from within, and stray bolts of lightning miss Tomoe by a hair.

Tomoe throws Ako inside and closes the closet, dusting her hands off.

“That’s the fifth one to malfunction this month... huh. Well, the backup unit should be here sooner or later, I guess.” Tomoe slaps the caved-in ceiling off of Ako’s bed, upon which she then sleeps for the night.

I’m still thinking about Yukina and I blame both the NY event and AiAi for her rising to 3rd place for like. The ninth time or something

Anyway this is a mini rant (that’s actually an appreciation post) bc I remembered something I read once and basically! I feel like sometimes characters are interpreted in a kinda reductive/black-and-white way and I’ve seen Yukina getting flak (in terms of development) for staying single-mindedly interested in music and only doing other things/going out of her comfort zone because she thinks it’ll benefit Roselia. And like. First of all, Yukina cares about her bandmates so heckin much. As people, as friends, not just as musicians. If she’s trying new things for their sake then she’s being a good friend who’s interested in other people’s interests, which she most certainly wasn’t for a long time. That’s the important thing. In the past Yukina has hurt people with her fixation on music even if she didn’t mean to. She’s in a healthier place and knows better now so music being her thing still is just . . . really great, actually? It’s who she is. Idk guys it’s just Good when characters develop but still retain those qualities that make them who they are. If Yukina wasn’t the incredible singer who’s kinda endearingly bad at other things . . . sob I love her ok and imho her development has definitely not been stagnant

okay i'm gonna try not to ramble on but I. LOVE. SAAYA. SO MUCH. OH MY GOD. listen all you saaya haters, i need a chat. because this woman??? she's a god. she cares so much about her band members and is the mom friend we all want. her giggles melt my heart and she's so pretty too. she's mature but still understands how to have fun and make a situation better. she lets kasumi do her thing and makes sure she's just having fun, even though we all know she wants to be that voice of reason to slap her sometimes. i just.. saaya is so good hhh. okay that's all.

So. It's been a while hasn't it? I don't know if anyone remembers me or even knows who I am, but I'll introduce myself. I'm CrazyPie, and I joined this website around a year ago. I used to play a lot of Bandori but I dont have the app anymore, mainly because I got bored of it. However I decided to come back to see what changed.

So many new people are on the site, and to them I say hi! Glad you joined. To the others who also left the site or on hiatus, I hope you are doing well. I dont know if I'll continue posting in here, but I'll be more active on my instagram (shameless promo) @crazyypie . As for the game, I'm considering downloading it again. I miss the songs and the characters. I miss playing lives with others. If I do download it again, I'll be sure to leave my code.
