is anyone else having difficulty opening aaside? my campus’ wifi being wonky today is one thing, but whenever i go on cellular it either won’t load entirely or it forces me to download voice data in order to play (which i had to do four times already and i dont wanna do it again) :(

Layer fan art! She looks like she got a black eye but that’s because I screwed up too many times on the right eye. Anyways, Rei is one of my favorite characters. She’s so calm and composed and has an amazing singing voice. Happy Birthday Rei!

I have not posted much about AAside yet because I was too busy playing AAside (literally it's all I've been doing ever since waking up, not counting food and stuff) but here's some first impressions

• I've seen a bunch of people say the game bugs out & lags a lot but I've had barely any problems save for the occasional error and long loading times. :o tbf I also just got a new phone so. but gotta remember that it's just released, a lot of this will be ironed out soon
• the quest system is a lot simpler to grasp than I'd feared; I was kinda afraid that it'd be too complicated because I am very stupid but it's pretty easy!
• good god this game is generous so far. starting to understand why they put an expiration date on Navistones (though it's still a bad idea and I hope they at the very least extend it), I don't think I've ever played a game that let me get to 70 pulls over the course of the starting day completely f2p
• friend point scouting ...... has 4*s in the pool .......... the chances must be going toward 0 but the fact that they're in it???? incredible
• in all the stories I've seen so far (main story & a bunch of Gyro & argnv stuff), all Shuu's been doing is actively make things worse for everyone. it's amazing
• when I first heard FAR AWAY I went "oh. oh this one's loaded" and the song story certainly did not help (I'm not done with it yet but uuuh three or four chapters in?? it's very good)
• speaking of, SONG STORIES ARE SUCH A GOOD IDEA AND EXECUTED WONDERFULLY I LOVE IT
• sliders are evil. evil I say
• despite that, I've managed to AP two Hard songs by now ... I've never AP'ed anything other than like one Easy song in SIF ......
• it feels like for the rhythm game, the charts themselves aren't as hard as the harder ones from GaruPa, but the margin for error is smaller, which I personally prefer
• obvious annoyances with the Grade Up system aside, it's SO NICE to finally not feel bad about getting dupes so I can't rly say I dislike it
• next priority is getting the song story for Root of Love because I need to know who made Wataru write those lyrics holy heck
• Nayuta is very beautiful in the FAR AWAY MV
• HARU's 3d model. that is all
• Gyro band story left me in pain and suffering and I have yet to get past that part
• Rio has been EXCELLENT in these stories, he kinda faded into the background in the anime but he really gets his time to shine here and I love it, he is so very wise
• I'm like 70% sure that the currently unvoiced stories will be voiced in the future based solely on the fact that the screen that asks you if you want the voice or not still pops up on them
• there's a (currently empty) members section on the Pon-chan badge exchange screen. future event cards, possibly?
• did I mention yet that FAR AWAY is a rly good song and actually all the new songs are rly good anyway yes that is. a thing. that is a thing thank you
