Hey!!! So after a long time I thought I kinda wanted to share my Bandsona OCs with you (I know it's my first time posting on Bandori Party but I've been stalking you guys for a very long time tbh ;v;) so here we go!!
At first, i was just really inspired when I saw Argonavis characters' announcement so I wanted to make a band of guys (they're probably the most inspired by Bandori), but now there's like 9 bands (there won't be anymore), and girl bands too!! (and mixed ones because its!! even better) It has kind of become its own story with

and by the way some of the drawings here are REALLY old like they've been done one year ago, so sorry if some of them looks wonky, im doing my best ;u;)
This group’s name is Rainmaker !! They are five 2nd years who are basically just a band of friends? They play instruments and songs and all, but to be honest, their principal interest is having fun and being the dumbest possible. Rainmaker is kind of their excuse for hanging out together (of course they still do lives) There is some angst too, but they are just cute and friends and kinda gay.
Chihiro Seto
The Leader of Rainmaker!! He is also the bassist, and is nicknamed Chi. Chi is your usual genki protagonist, he is always energetic and boucing around, and when he likes something he will give it his all, but... he is not really motivated by a lot of stuff. He's also kind of childish, and gets easily overwhelmed ? He doesn't know how to deal with his emotions other than just being "happy!!! :)"
But since he's the moodmaker of the band, he can be a really good leader. He never really stops smiling. He's surprisingly introverted ? It's not that he's shy, but he needs to be alone often.
He loves video games, dogs, cooking, and doing fun stuff!! He could die for his friends.
He kind of have a "dark secret" ? (yay tragic backstory) Like, even for some of his friends it's a bit obvious that most of his genki-ness is fake and that.. he really isn't like that. Actually, even though he's being really secretive about it so it's not diagnostized, he has depression. But it’s a really hidden part of him, he's not even sure of it.
Shun Morikawa
The Vocalist!! He's the dad friend of everyone, he takes care of all his little stupid ducklings, and he's mature and soft ! He still gets dragged into stupid shit because he has little to no autority, but it's fine. He worries way too much about everyone, and neglects himself in return, so it's kinda unhealthy for him :(
He's also Chi's childhood friend ! (and he has a big crush on him) They've known each other since they were born and used to kow everything about the other, but things happened and time passed. While they're not on bad terms or anything, sometimes things are a bit awkward between them,,
Shun is really nice and polite, and never has bad intentions or anything like that so he becomes friends with others really easily! But he's self-conscious and really scared of being left out by everyone he knows. Since he's probably the character who knows the least about music in the band, sometimes he feels useless. (Rainmaker is here for him tho)
He's really good at archery, and kinda have a sugar addiction, he'll do everything in exchange of cake.
Arata Matsumi
Your local emo tsundere boi
He's the pianist ! He's really antisocial and cold, and a bit straight-laced, so before Rainmaker he used to have just one friend, and people in his class tend to dislike him because he's the fun police
But! he isn't a bad guy!! at all!!! Whenever people act in a way that he thinks is unfair or not morally correct, he will act. He can’t stand bullying, even if he’s not friend with the victims. Still, sometimes he ends up yelling at people for nothing. He has a really hard time controlling his emotions, and is sensitive so he has anger issues.
He scolds Rainmaker a lot but that's mostly when they are being reckless. To be honest, they are the people he treasures the most, and if you hurt one of them he will yeet you to the moon. Also he's OBSESSED BY FROGS, he gets all happy and cheesy just by seeing one, it’s as if he was another guy. Arata also likes handmade stuff, most of his belongings are personalized, and he owns a lot of cute stationnary.
While he's always yelling at Chi (who completely disregards his scoldings) and calling him stupid, he also helps him out a lot. When Arata is with Shun, he's way softer and more relaxed than with most people, they get along really well.
Shigeri Utsumi
The guitarist!! He also composes for the band (and Chi writes the lyrics). He's a bit of a weirdo, he's always sleeping around, and is kind of aphatetic ? He's also the meme-fuel of the band. Whenever he and Chihiro are together, there WILL be some kind of disaster.
He's really, REALLY lazy, and kind of irresponsible even when he tries, so most of the time it's other people that have to care for him. For example, he doesn't care at all about his studies and has really bad grades. He used to be a genius when he was young but completely gave up because he's somehow scared of being considered as cool and talented. He’s always being pushed around for work. (in real life he would insufferable omg)
However, he's also the moral backbone of Rainmaker! Shigeri’s the most perceptive out of the five, so he tends to notice when people are feeling bad, and he's always trying to give advice or just a shoulder to cry on. He can guess the personality of someone in just a few minutes of conversation, because he’s always looking out for things like the way people gesture when they talk. His only interest besides the band is dinosaurs, he knows a lot of things about them and thinks they're the coolest (well, used to be at least).
He's always bullying the others members and being a bit snarky. Shigeri’s also the first friend of Arata. They met in their first year of middle schol, and while they banter a lot, they also care very much about the other.
not to be too biased but tbh hes my favorite oc, he's dumb and a bit annoying sometimes but he's also so sweet i love him
Izumi Kanamoto
Aaand the last character!! He's the drummer (i mean it was like the only instrument left).
At first glance, Izumi is super, super shy. He's anxious most of the time, and has a trouble connecting with other people. His family move out a lot because of work, sometimes he doesn't even stay one year in the same school, and while now he's used to changement, it's also one of the main factors of his social anxiety. He fears becoming attached because he knows that he’ll have to let go in a short period, and thinks that it isn’t worth it.
(he'll stay in the town of Rainmaker's school, because when he moved out this time, he got angry at his parents for the first time and made them promise to keep him in this school until the end of his high school years) But!! He's also trying to change, and does his best to get out of his comfort zone to try to make friends. That's how he met Rainmaker!!
When he gets used to people, his shy side tends to almost completely disappear, and he's actually a bit of a dork. He has a passion for everything horror-related. He can rant about it for hours straight. Whenever things are about this topic, he becomes energetic and also a bit chaotic (he may or may not have tried to summon a ghost during practice). He can be touchy when people make fun of him (shigeri especially is always clowning him because shigeri is really tall and izumi is smol as hecc, but it's just for fun, they are huge tsundere around the other). He gets along really well with Chihiro, they like to play games together at Chi’s home (even if izumi is always suggesting horror games). Also he plays mobage and his best girls are Rinko and Ako
So yeaaaah that's all !! IM REALLY SORRY IT WAS SO LENGHTY i hope you had fun reading about them, i love these 5 dorks very much, i think that the Bandori inspiration is really obvious aqlsdfj
