ANYWAY I translated ....... not Steady Goes, but Starry Line! or rather, I tried to. I haaaaaaate translating lyrics so much for a variety of reasons, but unfortunately I also happen to love Nanahoshi Ren, so.

important to note is please do not take my word on lyric translations ever. I find myself looking at these and going "what's that even supposed to mean" and then I look at the original and think "oh right, that's what it's supposed to mean", TRANSLATING LYRICS IS SUPER TOUGH OKAY-- I dropped like half of sentences sometimes because I simply did not know how to word them and eventually figured that it's good enough and the meaning gets across, kinda ... I'm sorry ... I'm mostly posting these because there's some lines in this song that make me just [clutches chest] hhhHHH

I promise this makes more sense in Japanese, they're actually pretty straightforward lyrics, but they're still lyrics and have I mentioned yet that lyrics are a pAIN

I may not be able to place her there (yet), but in my heart, Mashiro is #3.

She's one of two characters that instantly resonated with me on first appearance and onwards and the other is CHU². I think the 'less than positive' opinions towards Morfonica and the other stuff only strengthened my opinion. Morfonica is something new, so I want to support them all I can.

Can I still call Monika new? It's past 5 months since their reveal, it doesn't feel like it at all but at the same time, it does. I'm thinking too much. Mashiro, in my heart, is in the tier with CHU² and PAREO. Even if CHU²'s a 'teeny, tiny' bit higher than I say...

Okay but why are we getting another Touko event 3 star so soon? Her last one was like two events ago. Must I fight the devs?

I read the current event story on JP, and here are my thoughts (spoilers ahead, I guess):

Ok, wow. I really underestimated the stories, as I haven't been reading them for a while, but I'm catching up again!

Anyway, this story has A LOT of development involved, imo. I guess it's Touko's perspective of what happened after the second Monika event, where Rui gave Touko some time before they'd test her and decide whether she should have her 'solo' or not. The beginning had Touko worried and asking Sayo desperately to teach her guitar, because she really wants this solo. Now, this kinda surprised me, since Touko seems to have a lot of self confidence, so it's kinda unusual to see her in a state like this. Anyway, Tae overhears the two, and wants to teach Touko along with Sayo, and well, things got a bit weird-ish after that. Sayo made a well amount of criticism on Touko's habits when playing, like how her tempo is too fast or slow, or how her fingers aren't in the right position. Touko also kept complaining, although not admitting it, and I honestly wondered what would happen next at this rate. The next day Touko met Kaoru and Misaki at the park, and Touko asks Kaoru if she could teach her. This teaching method was pretty different, as Kaoru was moving a lot while playing, and Touko seemed to follow, and ended up playing better. Sayo sees this and realized that Touko's habits have been overwritten by Kaoru's habit when playing (Idk how to rephrase this sentece lmao). Fast forward to the live, and Touko nails the hard parts in her solo. Sayo tears up a bit, and for some reason I kinda like that moment lol.

After reading the story, I'm starting to like Touko more :)

Strange thing I wanted to say since nobody has pointed it out yet:

Ok so I know Tsugumi isn't really someone who always gets 4* but Bushiroad can you stop giving Tsugumi a 4* EVERY. SINGLE. AFTERGLOW. EVENT?? All the three most recent events had Tsugumi as a four star like how??? Good for Tsugumi fans since she had only SIX four stars but this is getting repetitive, mabye do it in a mixed event or something next time? I really want one with Rinko not gonna lie. And not that I want to be repetitive too ( ok jk yes I want ) but Bushiroad..... My Tomochisa powerful event... I will be begging for eternity ;). Absolute destroyers apocalyptic gacha where you at?? And no I don't ship it just think it would be amazing for them to destroy eachother
