hello I am technically not here because I'm still kinda eh and my strategy of dealing with that is to limit my social media use to my (private) twt, play Animal Crossing, go outside, and blast GYROAXIA (all of which has been working to get my Emotions back but instead I'm now at 120% constantly and I do not wanna do that to you OR myself) ... I'm not quite sure when I'll be back but once I am I have SO much band boys/girls talk to catch you up on (just last night I almost cried about audio mixing. yes I mean it when I say I'm at 120%)

I'm sure a lot of us have been playing Project Sekai and D4DJ, and I'm just curious to hear what everyone thinks of the games! Favorite characters and units? Thoughts on the gameplay? Anything you're not a fan of? I'll be putting my own thoughts in the comments!

i managed to make just enough space on my phone to download d4dj; the game is really unique and fun and after only 3 rerolls i managed to find haruna's 4 star, my best girl so far, but i'm a bit annoyed at how fast the note speeds are - admittedly i'm a VERY low speed player, my instincts are just too slow to play at high speeds no matter how much i've practiced, but the speeds in d4dj are so fast to me i can barely play hard difficulty even at the lowest speed settings..... i'm not sure whether to carry on trying or not ;o;

I like everything about Bandori!! The songs, the characters, the game style, etc (but not the lags and the crashings tho).

WHAT IS THIS MULTI WHAT IS THIS MULTI????

Amazing second multi, but with it I saw some scenarios with the Gacha. First, before you even see the silhouette of the first character, you see the stage scene thing but this time for me, around about after when you can see a date (2019/7/20 I think it says), it suddenly cut to a dark static-y screen and after some time, the 4☆ Muni intro played, without me pressing anything. Note, THAT WAS THE FIRST CARD I SAW IN THAT PULL, NOT SECOND. Miyu was second. Second, Hiiro’s silhouette was with white lights (2☆) but when I tapped the screen to reveal the card, a gold bolt shot from the right and the lights changed to gold (3☆). So I experienced a fakeout and some MASSIVE fakeout.

Edit: You can get fakeout'd twice for one card, from white to gold to rainbow. That's good to know, even 2☆ can be 4☆ but you shouldn't be looking at 2☆ as 4☆. It's best when it surprises you.

A question about D4DJ:

So I was playing the game and went through the list of songs and there's some songs missing? Like Horizontal Oath and Gonna be Right are not there...

Is it just me that didn't find them or they just aren't available yet?

Hey, yeah, still going on about D4DJ, but in Rondo's story, a piano(?) arrangement for prayer[s] plays and ??? IT IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

prayer[s] was already massively growing on me after LOVE!HUG!GROOVY!! and this just sealed the deal, prayer[s] is amazing. This, right here, this is why I Rondo favourite.

today is my 1 year anniversary on garupa!! i'm really happy i managed to spend an entire year playing this game considering my lack of attention span.... i love the gameplay, i love the characters, i love the music, i love everything!!! of all the rhythm games i've been able to play it's easily my favourite and i'm so glad i got into it 💖

that said i would also like to give my thanks to banpa!! the bandori community everywhere else really intimidates me but i feel so in place here - it took about 6 months of me being on the site to start actually posting because i'm so shy, but it was the best decision i ever made because it's wonderful to be part of a community where we all share that interest in bandori! i won't give specific shoutouts because i'd probably miss someone so... if you're reading this consider this your shoutout :)

here's to many more years of playing bandori, i'm so grateful to have this franchise in my life ~
