i have seriously unpopular opinions!! the lighting is pretty, that's for sure, but other than that i feel like it could've been a bit better imo- maybe it's because simple red clothes for christmas bother me? also the saaya messes me up a bit :'))

Announcing Our Merry Melody, a Christmas BanG Dream! charity fan comic anthology. The anthology (put together by over 30 collaborators from the overseas Bandori community) features the cast of Poppin' Party, Afterglow, Roselia, Pastel*Palettes, Hello Happy World, and RAISE A SUILEN - 15 chapters, with 15 pairings in total!

I'm the lead organizer of this project, as well as the artist & writer for the MocaRan chapter. This project has been in the works since January, and I'm so excited to finally be able to share a little snippet of what's to come with the community! I wanted to be able to create something the scale of which the Bandori fandom on this side of the community has never seen before, and I hope we succeed.

So, I heard everyone is talking about their best d4dj girls! Mine is muni so far.

summary of new things from the 4Gamer play report of AAside they just decided to drop on us right after I was done crying over Masa-kun's interview ...

• they went into a bit more detail on stuff we already know but nothing I find particularly noteworthy
• the rest function we've seen during the quests is actually important. if you don't let your poor boys rest every so often, they'll end up in the hospital. ... but they'll have special dialogue so you may wanna tire them out anyway. you evil, evil person.
• some costumes come from 4*s, some can be bought with a currency called ... Pon-chan Badge ... sobs I love that ...
• we've kinda seen this before, but if you do an MV / live show with the band as it's supposed to be, they get a more animated performance. however, it seems you can unlock that for others too with AA-Points, an item you get during Everyday Life Mode
• there's a friend system and friend points, friend point scout included! but no titles, it seems like =O
• aside from training & skill training, you can use special training on your cards to limit break them. you use items for that, but if I'm reading this correctly (it's worded kinda weirdly), you unlock the "trained" art alongside a limit break via using dupes. basically, the SIF method but from what it reads like restricted to cosmetics only since you can limit break with items. I wonder if there's a seal system for that too that they just didn't mention ...
• you unlock card stories (3*+) and outfits (4*) via maxing out a card, apparently unrelated to the art change
• Nayuta-kun 3*! interestingly, he's a combined healer/scorer card like some of GaruPa's 4*s; with 650+ life you get a score boost of 40%, with less than that you get a life restoration of 400.

• Goal Line EX is a 21. just thought that was funny. 21 is pretty damn low, the other songs seemed to be in GaruPa scale, so you can imagine it's a pretty easy one (though the Normal is still 1 harder than FAR AWAY lol)
• you buy covers ingame, just like in GaruPa
• look at Reon working at the café. what a good boy.

and yea I think that's about it for the stuff I found noteworthy! side note, I'll probably make some sort of guide / general tips & tricks once the game is out; and feel free to come to me with any questions at any time!

please don't make getting the trained art too hard ... even if it's just cosmetic sobs ...

Fave Popipa Set - Halloween

I really like Halloween based sets and stuff in general but these cards are gorgeous. All of their costumes are so different but the purple/orange colour schemes unite them all!

Least Fave Popipa Set - Railgun Collab

The Railgun cards aren't bad by any means but they feel...bland? Compared to other collab cards, nothing much is happening and it's honestly hard to tell which cards are the 4 stars because of that.

Fave Afterglow Set - Ghost

....Did I mention I like Halloween-esque stuff? This set, I love it. Arguably my most favourite costume set for Afterglow. I love the ragged cloaks, the faces on the cloaks, this set is just super cool!

Least Fave Afterglow Set - Comic Panic

If the ghost set is a set of costumes I absolutely love, the Comic Panic set is the set of costumes I seriously do not like. I get that it's comic based and is meant to be colourful and chaotic but I can't get into it. This set, imo, is better with the untrained cards.

Fave Pasupare Set - Butterfly

Instead of me choosing another spoopy set, I'm gonna say that the Butterfly set is one of my faves. All of the cards and costumes are beautiful and Chisato is ethereal. This is one of the older sets but I think it still looks good!

Least Fave Pasupare Set - Winking Cheer

I could have chosen a few sets but I'm ultimately choosing this set as I don't personally like the costumes, whereas I genuinely like the Brighter brighter and Title Idol costumes. Another thing is the way Chisato looks in her trained. It looks slightly off to me but, that may just be me.

Fave Roselia Set - PASSIONATE ANTHEM

THIS SET! YUKINA'S CARD IS AMAZING! THE SHEER POWER OF HER HOLDING THE MIC STAND AND LEANING DOWNWARDS! AND THEN AKO'S CARD! TOMOE AND AKO TOGETHER IN A TRAINED CARD LETS GOOO!

Least Fave Roselia Set - Don't Leave me Lisa

This wasn't easy to choose because all of the sets are super good but I had to choose one. There's nothing to say except this is my least fave.

Fave Harohapi Set - Sheep

So I also have a big liking towards celestial and star stuff and the sheep set has aspects of that! The set just looks all so cozy, the colour schemes are nice and all of the cards and costumes are so nice! I especially love Kaoru's wand and the stars that come out of her hand in her live2d model for this card!

Least Fave Harohapi Set - Fluffy Monster

This set has grown on me but is still my least fave out of all the sets. This is once again my dislike for the amount of colours in the set and I'm not a big fan of MIchelle's glowing nose?

Fave Mixed Set - Sakura Splash I could have chosen so many sets but...I think I need to say that this set is one of my faves no doubt! I love sakura themed things and the cards and costumes in this set are beautiful. Other sets I will mention are the Hikawa astrology set, Rival Chevaliers, the chess Udagawa set and the Morfonica sakura set.

Least Fave Mixed Set - DIY Okay, let's ignore the Downtown set for one second since that would be my least fave but everyone else has basically mentioned it. Other than downtown set, I don't really like the DIY set. There's something about both 4 stars that annoys me. Also the costumes aren't particularly amazing imo.

It was hard to choose from so many sets but this was fun!
