tbh I'm SO tired of ''nobody's best girl'' posts. not here in banpa, but in the internet in general. today I saw someone saying ''well yeah but Hagumi is nobody's best girl lmao'', and I've seen things like ''Popipa is pure trash'', ''who does even like Tsugumi lol'' or ''who was Maya again? ah yes, that girl no one likes''. And even worse, EVEN INSULTING THE SEIYUUS OR THE BANDS IN GENERAL.

guys... stop. not only it makes you look like you're a pain in the neck (trying to keep this 'mini-rant' cold), but come on. You may not like a certain character, that's fine. My worst girl is probably Himari (I love her too! I just like the others more), but I don't go out there saying ''HIMARI UEHARA SUCKS!''. Another example, at first, I didn't like Harohapi AT ALL. But I didn't go out there ''Harohapi is shit! Hope they disband or something!''.

there's always gonna be someone who actually likes those characters/bands/seiyuus/idk whatever you're talking about. Do you think your best girl would like to know that you harass other characters/bands/etc? I don't think she would, even if they're all just fictional characters!

plus, it's pretty mean. if we can have fun, memes, and normal convos, why do we need those people acting like this?

tl;dr: don't harass other characters/bands/etc because you don't like them. you're free to say ''hmm, I don't like Roselia that much... but I respect your opinion!'' (as an example), but don't go any further. please.

why? i just realized, a month or so again, he told me thank you for something and blessed me by saying i'd get at least 1 pasupare 4* by the end of the year.

since then, i've gotten 4 (additional shout-out to the lovely maya yamato for coming home twice in the last week alone - i guess she liked my drawing!). now all i need is a hina 4* and i'll have one for every pasupare girl!

Battle of the Bands 2018

To preface this post, thanks to all the staff, captains, and participants that made this event possible!

It has been a long time since I have participated in a community and to find this one was a blessing. I joined a few weeks before Battle of the Bands, not knowing what it was. But the banner and the constant announcements about it got me interested.

Fast forward to October 27th, the groupies have been sorted and the battles began. I played around 6-8 hours per day with the missions. And spent some quality group time with the groupies. In the Discord chats and through group battles/missions.

I think the format of the event was very well done and I did my best to support my groupies and everyone during this event!

I accomplished every hard difficulty mission in the BOB which....I did not expect. I never thought I could AP a song (I got two during the BOB). I never thought I could get less than 10 greats on a song (I got three during the BOB). I never thought I could hit Goods and Bads purposely (I learned to hit it precisely and how to get it on demand). I never thought I could play songs on EX over 50 times with consistency (I played Redo over 100 times and Heroic Advent about 40 times in a row to complete missions). I never thought I would find a use for my ability to get a very high number of greats (Many missions required this). I never thought I could count the number of non-perfects I needed during the song and make sure I don't get too many/too few.

You can see how much growth this event can be for a player who is decent at the game. It was very eye-opening and a very good event to teach me new things. I think it was really cool that the missions were do-able even for players who may not be pros/gods at Bandori. The balance was really good, even if some missions were pretty demanding. Persistence paid off! (And some of you might know how persistent I can get)

If anyone reading this out there did not get to participate this year, I hope you can make some time next year to give it a shot! It's definitely something you need to experience. Even if Poppin' Party does not win, I think everyone wins in my book. We all had fun, made new friends, and got to be a part of something awesome. I definitely got so much out of the 4 action-packed days of this event.

My depression had gotten really bad but the discord was rly supportive and i'll admit it helped me get out of it a little. Im still struggling but im trying. It just hurts that none of my friends (outside bandpa) have been there for me lately:'<

Fam ik im the ducky mama and all, but on the discord i get babied there. They always give me advice and tell me the sweetest things!! What the heck!! They rly do watch out for me and i love them so much for that ;0; ♡♡♡

GUYS, I GOT PROMOTED!!

It happened a couple of days ago but I'm still McCrying in the club,,

I started as a regular Discord Member, signing up as a Hello, Happy World! Groupie for the Battle of the Bands, then got promoted to Captain, due to some being forced to leave,, after the 2nd BoB ending and me doing a lot of recalculations, I got promoted to Discord Moderation Staff and now..!

aaa I'm so happy~! I'll make sure not to disappoint anyone!
