Well, it's the 5th anniversary of our lovely franchise, and I'm really happy to know what it have become. Not that I'm the oldest fan of the franchise (on the contrary, I started a little more than a year ago), but I was really interested in seeing how it all started and what changed through this time. Searching about this, I discovered the franchise's origin, and how different it was (but you all probably know this).
To summarize for those who doesn't know, Bandori started in 2015, with a manga called "BanG_Dream!: Star Beat" (yes, it has an underline), and the plot, personalities and appearances (their original designs are as above) were different than the original. Only in 2016 the universe "resetted" and we had the PoPiPa girls we know today.
But why am I talking this about? Well, I looked at this post, and I'm really happy they didn't forget their origins even though a lot of things happened until now. And this reminded me an idea I had a time ago, about an possible event I would love to see in Bandori.
Event name: BanG_Dream!: Star Beat
Yes, exactly like the manga
- Event type: Live Goal
- Event attribute: Pure
- Event characters: Poppin'Party
- Gacha cards: Kasumi (4S), Arisa (4S), Rimi (3S)
- Event cards: Saya (3S, 120000pts), Tae (3S, 150000pts)
The story would be basically this: one day the girls were walking on street and hanging together, and suddenly they were transported to the manga dimension and separated from each other. There, each one would meet their counterpart and talk with them, sharing their experiences as Poppin'Party, and giving a new vision to each of them. Basically, it would be a "tribute" to the original storyline, and a way to new (and even old) players to know more about the origins of the franchise and their original personalities (I personally would like to learn more, since I don't have too much information about it). It also is an opportunity to hear the CVs in another personality. The story would be like this:
- Opening: It's me, but... (They are trasported, got lost, and tries to find the others, but find their counterparts first);
- Chapter 1: Saya's diary (Saya's conversation);
- Chapter 2: Clumsy Tae (Tae's conversation);
- Chapter 3: Rimi, the ninja (Rimi's conversation);
- Chapter 4: Arisa and BanG_Dream! (Arisa's conversation);
- Chapter 5: The story of Kasumi (Kasumi's conversation);
- Ending: We 10 are Poppin'Party! (A joint concert with all of them).
About the cards, all the untrained ones would be a pair with their counterparts, and the trained ones would be a cloth inspired on the original design, and the Kasumi card would be a pair up with the original one (wearing one of the new outfits). I could draw a sketch to show how it would be like, but I suck drawing.
What do you think? It's not normal for me to think about fan-events, but I think this would be one of the most interesting if it happens. I know PoPiPa isn't the most popular band, but I really want to see more of them, how it all started and what reaction each one would have in meeting themselves. Also it would be a fantastic story to celebrate their 5th anniversary, since Poppin'Party began all of this, and they really deserve all the good things happening now. So let's celebrate with them, hoping for even better things!
