thinking about how in S1 PoPiPa's biggest goal that they needed the entire season to achieve was to play at a relatively small local live house, and by the end of S3 they're playing at the Budoukan alongside two very renowned bands with huge fanbases, musical skill, and production value, despite being "just" a band formed by five friends who simply love music and each other.

adding to this though I ALSO love that while yes, it was the Budoukan, in a way it was just another event hall that they didn't live too far away from and they got to play there because of a competition set up by the neighbourhood association. it wasn't the Budoukan because they necessarily NEEDED such a stage, but because they just happen to live near it and they managed to book it for the finals. it makes it feel simultaneously like a big deal and like something cosy that came about due to the love of the community, which is also a very PoPiPa feeling.

I'm literally just basing this off of design because, in terms of music, Merm4id is one of my favorite bands, but, in terms of character designs, I don't like their members. Miiko I think is the only one that I actually based off of their personality because I've seen their character description.
