so hi everyone! my name's Outi but online I usually go by my nickname outsa. I'm 19 years old girl from Finland, the same country as Eve, haha. I've been playing bandori since the EN game was globally released on 4/4/2018. my absolute best girl is Yukina and I love her a lot (have been loving her since I started playing)! <3 my other faves are Misaki, Ran, Lisa, Kaoru, Arisa, Sayo, Tomoe and Aya. and oh I'm also a huge Roselia stan!!!

my hobbies include making art (maybe you've seen some of my drawings I've posted here), watching anime (for example rly into Love Live, Haikyuu!!, Free!, BNHA and Hayao Miyazaki's movies) and reading. I also love learning languages (I can currently speak Finnish, English, Swedish, French and some Japanese but I wanna start studying many more) and I'm a freshman majoring in linguistics in university!

and here's another bandwagon thingy to slap into the end aka this bandori profile I actually started to filling when it was still trendy but then forgot about it so I only completed it now (also sorry for making this such a long post;;)

Out of curiosity, who else liked the first season of the anime more than the second one?

I feel like people talk smack about S1 a lot—I mean I wasn't too impressed by it at first either but a rewatch in the lead-up to S2 was enough to change my mind. Idk I think certain scenes might come across as melodramatic bc they rely on implication more than anything, which is a lot easier to appreciate the second time around when you know the characters/franchise better. For me at least it went from "She's bursting into tears, ok I guess" to "It may be sudden but her fear of letting others down hasn't been shown, that's all" and "This is Star Beat we're looking at, her reaction makes sense." The best part though imo is and has always been Kasumi's arc. Heck that hurt so good and felt so genuine.

I think S1's greatest strength is its character development, which holds despite its flaws. At the risk of being accused of favouritism lmao, I generally prefer the game's writing (while acknowledging a visual novel is way easier to write than an anime), but it's such a shame that out of all the PoPiPa girls only Arisa is regularly given the spotlight and depth S1 shows, though granted S1 Arisa has more of a supporting role so you could say she deserves it. Rimi though? Rimi's Gift of Song and Earnest Song for Me are great but more please. (Also JP players, I haven't gone through all the mixed event stories involving PoPiPa girls so slap me if there's one that suddenly decided to be super deep)

This is a S1 appreciation post but I'm not hating on S2 or anything! I just liked S1 better and I'm curious about what you guys thought

Day 8: Favorite Roselia Character

Finally...

here we are, the day has come, my favorite roselia character, but not only this, she’s my favorite character overall, she’s my wife, my everything, the love of my life, I seriously love rinko more than anything (she's second best girl ever, right after mikan tsumiki). She’s a pure girl, an angel, she deserves to be loved and happy, she deserves the whole world. I relate so much to her,, i’m not usually friendly, i mean, I’m not the type of person that starts the conversation you know? but when you get to know me, you can see that i’m completely different than before.. bUT BACK TO RINKO, I love her so much... I literally want to kiss her cheeks and tell her that everything is okay and hug her and hold her hand and aaaa;; she’s beautiful, she must have more confidence in herself, because everything about her is perfect. rinko is my babie and needs to be protected. I feel happy just by seeing her, seeing her smile, interacting with the others and talking about her passions, rinko happy = me suddenly happier. I still remember the day when Prelude’s Replay event got announced, I woke up for school, checked my instagram and.. first thing I see, is baby rinko. I literally cried, I couldn’t stop think about it the whole day, then, the day after, she came home (and I obviously cried again). I swear to god- I’ve never been happier than that moment. My precious girl. Sometimes I think that I don’t deserve her, she’s too perfect for me. and Ringing Bloom? that song.. Just some weeks before I said “ugh, rinko should sing more often” and then this song appears. I know, it’s not much, but her voice... is so calming... I feel like im in heaven, not joking.

well,, I think that’s all? even tho there are still a lot of things to say about this beautiful, perfect, awesome girl.
