dear god it's finally finished, I never wanna edit out long hair ever again ... I started this around the time when the Mermaid set came out and worked on it on-and-off every so often, it's not perfect but I like how he came out!

heY it's dayo if you've forgotten and also if you weren't aware roselia, RAS & popipa held 3 successive lives at budoukan on 21/22/23 feb respectively! for artistes, budoukan is often a really big goal (in fact, afterglow are aiming for it too as brought up in the anime hehe) and the fact that popipa has performed there twice now and roselia + RAS get the chance to do so as well is honestly so amazing,,,

here're some things that i thought would be interesting to share!

→ roselia emerged from coffins and left the stage via the same coffins. actual drama queens.

→ hidamari rhodonite was performed for the first time since yurishii's retirement!

→ it has been a staggering four (4) months since nonchan debuted and she's already performed at an overseas live (AX), been on television (roselia performed brave jewel on NHK on 19 feb) and now at roselia's one-man live budoukan. she's amazing. we stan

→ before RAS's live, there was a surprise opening act by argonavis! who is argonavis? they're part of a separate bandori boyband project

→ RAS also featured amita, mikku and sacchan (aya, kokoron & moca's seiyuus) so effectively all the bands had a chance to perform at budoukan! they also featured mimorin as part of guriguri <3

→ for their encore live and second performance of EXPOSE 'Burn out!!!', recording of the performance was allowed, and uploading it onto social media was even encouraged! this is really surprising given the strict rules prohibiting recording, but i'm so damn grateful for the many pseudo-fancams i've seen! here's a pretty good recording of it if you wanna see it too

→ popipa kickstarted their live with double rainbow and i'm sobbingngdg but okay bias aside their setlist sounds so good like they performed cover songs of kimi janakya dame mitai and only my railgun??? i assure you i will lose my mind when i get to watch them with my own two eyes

→ the popipa intermission videos were apparently long interviews with the girls themselves which i'm also looking forward to watching! the intermission video for 6th live was them as sentai rangers and it was really funny but i'd love to see some Serious poppin'

→ i think it's crucial to mention that it's popipa's second time at budoukan. as the first band and the literal reason why bandori exists today, they have paved the way for the other bands and seiyuus, no matter how little experience they have performing live. i think it's really admirable of them, and i'm proud of how they've been able to shoulder all this pressure. i was really emotional when saechi posted a pic on her ig of them at budoukan 2 years ago writing 'tadaima'' hhh i love them

this post is already a long and rambly mess so i won't insert too many pics (maybe i'll do so in the comments!) but remember to always support the bands - they put in so much work, and they're all so unique and amazing on stage!

to conclude: they are angels. thank you for creating, shaping and elevating bang dream

so we have character designs for ARGONAVIS now and I just wanna say that Ren is my guy until further notice for three (3) reasons

1. his hairstyle reminds me of a Free! OC of mine whom I love and cherish
2. his short lil character blurb, "the dream is the big stage! the lonely genius vocalst!" (haven't gotten to translating the whole intro text yet) reminds me of Yukina and I don't appreciate that girl enough so she can live vicariously through him
3. he has a fancy surname. Nanahoshi. seven stars

is that shallow? oh absolutely. maybe I'll end up liking the others more. but for now, he's Adopted

Hello, my name is Lei and I've been around for a while now, but I haven't done a self-introduction yet 85% because I didn't know how to make posts. 🙃🙃🙃

I absolutely love rock music and bands, which is the primary reason I played the game - because it had 100% band music on it. My phone's screenshot gallery is like 85% in-game screenshots because I like sharing my game to my friends, sso you guys might witness some of those, too.

I also tend to type out really REALLY R E A L L Y long messages like this sso sorry... I may sound chatty and outgoing, but really, I'm usually just super anxious.

I don't have a favorite girl because I believe they are all beautiful and deserve all the love they can get, so instead, have my ranking results from the Bandori Sorter on tumblr.

As I said before, I like listening to music, but I also like watching movies, cartoon series, and anime in my spare time. However, what takes up most of my leisurely time is making OCs (( both for existing game/movie universes and my own )) and making art (( primarily of OCs because I fear the possible inaccuracies of my fanart may also lead to possible hate sksksksk )), so I have a bunch of Bandori OCs (( and by bunch I really do mean a lot... like 6 bands - turned 10 bands after Argonavis was a thing uwu" ))

I've been playing for a while now (( since "A Rose's Name In A Transient World" event )) and I am proud to say I have been part of the Top 1000 5-6 times on Global server. I don't have a permanent name on both Global/English and Japanese servers, but I can always give my friend codes. Let's play some time! 😊😊😊

Day 12: Favorite "Other" Song

Oh boy.

Word of notice before I do anything else.

I do know Raise A Suilen exists. I do know GuriGuri exists. I listened to their songs and many of them are pretty good.

However, with recent developments going on in Bandori, there is one song that I just love so much but for more reasons than one.

Remember my reasoning as to why Neo Aspect is my favorite Roselia songs and one of my favorite Original Bandori songs in general?

It's sort of similar to that but it is more in relation to how I see Bandori's future and how bright it is.

In addition to it being a complete total bop.

GOAL LINE

This song gets me really hyped.

As in, really hyped.

I don't care what you say about Argonavis, but this is super good. The fact that this song has a live action version as well puts this above some of the other MVs as well.

But it isn't just how the song sounds.

Instead, the reason why I love it is because it gives me hope for Bandori's overall future.

While I do wish the series would go the way iDOLM@STER did, I am really glad at the journey the franchise had gone. From a struggling series to having it's own male band, Bang Dream had come a long way since 2015 when we were introduced to the Betadori girls.

In addition, there has been comments floating around Bandori twitter about another male band potentially being added and that Argonavis was just the beginning of this new project.

This only means one thing: Bang Dream is most likely going to last for a long time.

Here's to GOAL LINE and to the bright future of Bandori!

1. i’ve been following the franchise since it was first announced back in 2018, but i started to really get into it when the game was anounced!
2. REN!!!! i WILL die for him and i WILL whale for him. he’s so soft and cute, and his character is so endearing! i also like nayuta, reon and tadaomi :^)
3. argonavis! i just think their aesthetic is neat
4. argonavis may be my favorite band but manifesto is absolute FIRE
5. i like argonavis’ cover of melissa! it’s the only cover i really listened to so far, i didnt watch the sound only lives so i couldnt really get a feel of the other covers :(
6. nayuta/ren all the way!! i really hope they have a good dynamic, i’m hoping it’ll be similar to the yukina/kasumi dynamic...i also ship yuto/wataru, rio/banri, felix/tomoru, daimon/koharu, and yamato/aoi!
7. i want ren to get cute costumes. that’s it tbh
8. nothing in particular at the moment...
9. as said above, i want nayuta and ren to have a cute dynamic akin to yukina and kasumi. in other words, i want nayuta to develop a soft spot for ren despite his harsh attitude and i want ren to help nayuta become a nicer person...i think that would be sweet <3
10. nothing in particular, though it would be cool to see a sixth band!!
11. im really looking forward to the inevitable swimsuit + halloween sets!! also since bandori has given us girls in suits before, we should get a set where the boys wear dresses....
12. i dont have much of a strong opinion on the universe split, though admittedly it would be pretty cool if ran and nayuta had a showdown and chu2 and shu acted like evil gremlin bastards together......

14. i’m really enjoying the anime so far!! it’s more dramatic than slice-of-life fun but that’s okay~ it’s DEFINITELY more interesting than season 1 of the bandori anime

I wanna do this too!

1. When the franchise was first announced, I wasn't really into it. I didn't really like Argonavis' songs at the time, but I still liked the idea of a franchise extension featuring boy bands. When I ran into the Argonavis YouTube channel and listened to Hikari no Akuma, I lost my mind. I literally listened to that song (or rather the short version) on loop for 2 days straight and declared myself a hardcore AASide fan.

2. My best boy is the little rat Shu Ujigawa. I love him so much. I've always love the whole "don't judge a book by it's cover" trope when it comes to characters. I mean, look at this kid! He looks pure and precious and then out of nowhere he ruins your nice suit with a glass of orange juice that he made YOU go fetch! I love him so much.

3. Epsilon is best band!!! God, I love how different their dynamic is from any other Bandori band. Every other band is like "Yeah, we might have one guy on our team who sucks, but it's cool. We're all pals here." But then you have a band that is just completely messed up?? Yes please give me more

4. Hikari no Akuma is the ultimate bop. Can you tell I'm a filthy Epsilon stan yet? But Fantôme Iris's debut song ties in first place... (I cannot for the love of God remember what it's called. Please forgive me Uncle Felix.)

5. I cried when I listened to two covers songs: Unravel covered by Epsilon and Kurutte Hey Kids covered by Gyroxia.

6. I don't currently ship anything. I plan on waiting for the anime to finish before I evaluate possible ships.

7. I want slow character development! For me, the longer it takes for Epsilon to become less broken and for Nayuta to stop being a jerk, the better.

8. Holy mother of God if Epsilon were to cover Ruru-Chan's Suicide Show on a Livestream I would cry a river of happy tears. I would also like to hear Gyroxia cover Raspberry Monster and Fantôme Iris cover Malchut by Ariabl'Eyes.

9. I'm most excited to see Epsilon x Fujin RIZING interactions, specifically with Aoi and Shu. I've heard a conspiracy theory that the two have some sort of relationship (obviously not a romantic one) and I really want to see if that's true.

10. I assume by "future bands" they mean bands that will be added after the initial 5. I'm not sure what to expect or hope for, but I hope AAside doesn't pull a Morfonica... You can take that how you will.
