Wow, it really has been a week since I posted something, huh? I guess I was too busy tiering for this event LMAO. Let me say this first: “Holy sh*t, it’s finally over! I’m so goddamn exhausted! Those tryhards really had to make me work for it...” This post will be long, so I apologize in advance. For some reason, I really wanna talk about my journey throughout the event and how I felt about the event overall, so bare with me.

I’m not gonna lie, I sometimes just straight up skip the event stories for the events I don’t care about, so I can go back to tiering the majority of the time. Even when I do decide to read some of the events with some of my favorite Bandori girls in them, I usually just go “cool” or “eh, I’ve seen this formula already” most of the time. There are very few event stories that make me go “woah” or “subaramazing”! However, this event, “Noble Rose - A Song, an Extreme -” (stupid name by the way, the original translated name, “Noble Rose - A Song to Be Reached -”, was way better and is the proper translation), was different. Y’all should know by now that I’m someone who tries to be facetious and funny and I tend to meme a lot in majority of my posts, so this post is going to be a bit more serious and a slightly emotional one (ew, I know; ya boi feels the same way). “Noble Rose - A Song, an Extreme -” has got to be my favorite event this year (EN server). For the first time in a while, I felt something when I finished reading the event story and I got emotional (I rarely show any emotions). When Yukina and Roselia finally achieved their dreams of performing at the Future World Fes., I felt moved and really proud of them. That got ya boi motivated to show his devotion as a proud Roselia fanboy by once again going for a [Top 100] title even though I told myself various times I was done with the ordeal... I knew it’ll be a perilous road ahead of me, but I just had to embark on this hellish expedition at all costs to get that [Top 100] title for my queen, Yukina! My wallet be damned because I’m gonna show my full devotion and go all out for this event! I fought tooth and nail for this title and it’s definitely the most satisfying one I have earned yet. I guess I went beyond plus ultra and played way more than I needed to because, Jesus Christ, I don’t think I’m gonna get a rank as high as 41 ever again LOL. I have no regrets though. If I was given a chance to reconsider my choice for tiering in this event, I wouldn’t even reconsider it because I’ll tier for [Top 100] for this event again and again ten billion percent! No question about it!

I didn’t expect that flute version of “LOUDER” at all and it got ya boi real good. I was like “Bruh, Bushimo, you really doing this to me?! Are you really making an aloof person like me get emotional?!” Prior to reading this event story, I knew “LOUDER” had something to do with “Song I am.” because of how similar they sound, but I didn’t expect it to play that MASSIVE of a role. That character development of moving on from the past (“LOUDER”; actually in the lyrics by the way) and proceeding into the future of Yukina was done brilliantly (“Song I am.”)! Hats off to Kurafto Eggu for writing this event story super well. The instrumentals of “LOUDER”, “Neo-Aspect”, and “Song I am.” back to back to back were so damn good... I just wanna say happy Yukina is best Yukina! That smile at the end of the event story gave me diabetes and it must be protected at all costs! When I listened to the full version of “Song I am.” for the first time when it was released, the final parts of the song gave me shivers of how powerful it was. I wasn’t ready for nor was I expecting that homage to “LOUDER” at all. I love how f*cking majestic and divine the final part of the song sounds… (y’all know exactly what part I meant, it’s a blasphemy if you don’t)
