hey everyone! i'm not sure if this has been done before, but i thought i'd post a quick tutorial on Markdown, which is a neat way to quickly style your posts (and it works on bandpa!)

Bold Text

To bold text, use double asterisks:

**This text will be bolded**

Italicized Text

To italicize text, use single asterisks:

*This text will be italicized*

Strikethrough Text

To strikethrough text, use double tildes:

~~This text will be strikethroughed... is that a word?~~

Headers

To create headers, use octothorpes (more commonly known as pound symbols or hashtags 😉)

Make sure to put a space before your text!

Lists

To create a list, just use asterisks or hyphens
