ok fam im officially done, afterglow has abandoned me and i cant get their cards. i retire from building an afterglow band, i am bushido dad now and let me tell u the frick why, this story finna win some grammys

so i rerolled, for like 100th+ time, u might not know this but i have an evil habit of rerolling everytime i get to like rank 60-70. this time my intent was to get 4str himari through solo yolo, which didnt happen bc i got 4star aya instead.

no worries i tell myself, just get some easy stars and try again. since its so quick to farm stars early on i got 7.5k and then hit the gacha again, this time i get 4* hina lmao. im like “ok dont trip bruh u can still make this happen.”

using the new cards i got my score up to where i could start farming hella stars through SS ranking the songs. between that and band stories / card stories, this time i got up to about 10k stars, so i hit the spooky gacha once more. i was soooo sure himari was coming home after literally 17.5k stars in total on just this one gacha.

fam i got four new 4 stsr and not a single one was himari, but heres the part where i realized i was locked out of getting afterglow: none of the 3 star i got were ghost moca. and none of the 2star ghost tomoe. i also didnt get a single 3 star aglow card period

but u know who came home? lil bu$$$hido $amurai fairy busta, and of course, the initial card of chisato looking hella thuggish. instantaneously i knew she was behind it all

the reason this happened is not just statistics or a coincidence. its bc i abandoned pastel for afterglow, u all saw how i did it. well her gangster headazz came back and brought the squad to block off afterglow cards and remind me of which band i first started memeing about when i joined this website.

the pastels were my original daughters and its about time i go back home. aglow is still my favorite band music-wise but they just cant be my kids like that.
