On seeing Morfonica’s designs and intros I was reminded of my fanband Velvet Vista (who you can read about here!). Maybe I just wanna draw the Monica girls and maybe I wanna dig my OCs out of storage too so why not sketch em together . . .

Starting with these three bc it makes sense. Bandori didn’t have a shy vocalist till Monica (bar Ran who is shy but also kuudere and not the type I mean) so a while back I made one, Tomomi! She is internally panicking but still managing to be cute and now she and Mashiro can be friends

Design-wise Mashiro immediately made me think of my bassist Kuuki (she plays the double bass and now we have a violin, time for her to bond with Rui over orchestral stringed instruments). Like Mashiro, Kuuki is also someone who gets lost in her imagination as her bio says, tho she's more of an oddball. Coincidences hmm

So, I bought the miracle ticket and got my favorite Kokoro card!

I also had enough stars left over for one more DF pull. I didn't get a 4*, but I got Hagumi's Backstage Pass card, so I'll take it!

BANGTOBER DAY 6: FAVORITE RAISE A SUILEN GIRL

Masking! I love her character design, I love her drumming skills, and most of all, I love her personality! "Tough on the outside but soft on the inside" is one of my all-time favorite chacter archtypes, and Masking is no exception. Sadly she didn't get much screentime in the anime, but I hope we get to see more of her in the future!

The new Morfonica "quote art" is really good! I've tried translating the texts below—although I might not be 100% correct!

Mashiro:

"I've noticed the shine of those stars, and reached for them."

Touko:

"This is too fun! I've found something I want to do!"

Nanami:

"You don't have to stand out. It's fine being ordinary."

Tsukushi:

"If you can say you can do it, then you can do it. You just got to tell yourself that."

Rui:

"I want to know that answer that day."

Ok, I probably weirded out so these translations may not be as accurate. Ah well.

Happy Birthday Sayo and Hina!!!

This is the kind of style of birthday posts I'm gonna do now. I'm gonna make a wallpaper-like thing with some of the cards of the character and add some other stuff, like their zodiac sign's constellation. In this one, I also included the Gemini constellation because it represents twins.
