I'm having some mixed feelings about this 6th Anniversary update...

Yup, that's right guys I'm BACK with the weirdest update of all time.

First of all...

I'm LOVING the new Afterglow outfits. I'm so glad that they made them different for every member instead of having them all be the same.

I'm not sure what's happening with the art style here, though. It's weird, but I like it.

MISAKI IS FREE. FINALLY

SHE FINALLY GET'S WHAT SHE DESERVES. I don't know if this has to do with one of the HHW stories because I haven't read a single story since 2021 (lol), but I'm thrilled!

Now here's where things get more negative.

I'm not a fan of the 3D models.

They look really unpolished and odd, it just wasn't a good idea. It feels like Bandori is just copying what Project Sekai.

The models do seem to have some cool animation features, like the way that they move their fingers, chords and music stuff, etc. But even in 3D live mode, the models have really weird shadows.

WHY DID BANDORI DO THIS. WHY WAS THERE EVER A NEED FOR FIVE STARS.

This completely devalues all the other 4*'s that I have. It took YEARS to get all of those! And now they won't even be that good.

I am glad that they're doing the Kirameki card transfer, though. That means I'll at least have one five star for 6th anni.

But part of this also feels really weird, because even though Kirameki cards are awesome, they don't have, like, astonishing art or costumes.

THIS I am excited for, though. Kirameki AND Dreamless with new five stars?! This is great!

But with my luck I'm gonna get absolutely no good cards lol

I absolutely HATE this new decoration feature. Bandori isn't a silly life simulation decorating game, it's a rhythm game. The dumbest feature of 2023.

All together, I'm really bummed out.

The game is trying to be too much like every other game out there. And with games like D4DJ and Pjsekai, Bandori has lost the spotlight. All of these efforts they've been putting in to regain it are just tanking the game's reputation. Maybe after this anniversary, Bandori might need to go. (Even though that would be super sad.)

This update is probably going to lose lots of Bandori fans, sadly.

I'm sure I wonder there is 5th anniversary for endori, but the event was accelerated for some reason and didn't want postpone. Backstage Pass 5 was supposed until in April month before anniversary.

So, I don't know what to say, but at least I need spend more stars. as always, enjoy in the new year 2023!

Even after and looking at the Rinko cards I’ve missed for 2 years, her “Stage Outfit” 4* is the best of the best. idc. The “Me and My Piano” 4* go 2nd and the Bride Rinko (black or white) goes 3rd…The new cards really look so good, it got me liek “damn, I missed THESE?!”

Anyways, here’s a unfinished sketch of Rinko “Stage Outfit” 4*…The more I look at it, it’s becoming more ugliee, so shower the sketch with lots of love

I'm so happy that we will be able to choose between Misaki and Michelle! Can't wait for this to also be on global server (=⌒‿‿⌒=)
