teaser for Morfonica's first cover, Melissa, is out and it supports my theory 100% that the problems people had with Daylight's vocals weren't Mashiro's actual singing, it was that the mix was very bland and the song itself mostly stays in one pitch too so it's really easy to make it sound super meh (I wrote a twt thread on it but that's the tl;dr), but it can easily be mistaken for her just not being that good of a singer yet if you haven't tried to sing the song and noticed it for yourself imo

ya hear that last note? MY GIRL CAN SING. can't wait to hear the full thing and future Morfonica originals that play with the melody more and let Mashiro truly shine

I actually really liked how they used the Live2D models and the initial 3* cards in these MVs. It was a good way to improvise when they didn't have high quality 3D models yet. I liked HaroHapi's the most. I felt like they put in the most work with HaroHapi's. That's probably just biased because I love HaroHapi, but whatever. Okay, that's all I'm gonna say about this. I'm tired.
