fanband stuff!!! this time featuring *KALEIDOSKOPE.'s new vocalist, Ikuto! I've introduced him before, but a couple of things have changed as he's developed, so I feel like a re-introduction is in order now that I've finished his artwork.
his voice is something like this! he can get a bit louder if he needs to, but his voice overall has more of a soft, airy sound to it and he uses his falsetto a bunch.

The vocalist is supposed to be the face of the band ... And yet, I ...
a student in Sapporo who lives in Otaru and commutes every day, Ikuto is someone whose true calling is composing songs. he plays the guitar on his own time and has been writing songs since he was small, eventually getting accepted into a music-focused high school and working his way up from there. when he saw that Kaleidoskope was recruiting after losing their previous vocalist, he took the chance, hoping to get his foot in the door of the music industry.
he doesn't actually care much about singing, neither liking nor disliking it, it's just something he always did to vocalise his songs, and he was active in choir during school times as he needed to join a club, so he's got experience and a very nice voice. being in a band wasn't ever something he expected, nor does he particularly know how he feels about it just yet.
Ikuto is somewhat quiet, though not necessarily shy. he internalises his feelings a lot and tries to not be a bother to other people and therefore generally gets along with others pretty well, but doesn't really have a lot of close friends. people who know him naturally flock to him since he's got an approachable aura, though strangers don't tend to notice him.
the days kind of pass by him as he does what is expected of him but not much more than that - until Kaleidoskope's battle of the band with Sirenity, at which he meets Hiiragi Mae and is confronted with someone who truly loves the stage and has ambitions rising higher than he could ever fathom. their relationship is going to become very important in Kaleidoskope's band story and subsequent event stuff, if I ever get to it. now, Ikuto finally has a spark of motivation to try harder and believe in himself just a little more.
all of this plays out in the setting of a band that's broken more than anything ... I'm very excited to write more about him!!
fun fact: his character design is based on a previous one I did for fun. said character was based on ... a cloud. he literally is soft like a cloud

I rly liked the idea of this from PastelAngel's post, so here's BanDori & ARGONAVIS characters ranked by how much I relate to them! I hope this can turn into a trend I'd rly like to see that
I kept the tiers pretty open since otherwise it'd be a mess of a billion tiers, but this is about it. idk how I come across online (probably more confident than I actually am pff), so some of these might be surprising to see?
also the reason I had to do argnv too was nOT just because I'm fixating on it, it's that not mentioning Ren would be heresy ... there's no other character I relate to as much out there, he easily snatched that spot from Kunikida Hanamaru. the only thing he has that I don't is a healthy sleep schedule coughs,, and he's cuter than I am but that's obvious I mean have you SEEN him
