me realizing that chisato's disdain towards kaoru's princely persona stems from kaoru putting on a persona of bravado in order to hide her weaknesses but chisato does the same thing in that she's constantly putting on a false smile in order to hide her cynical nature towards the entertainment/idol industry and her insecurities as a whole, but kaoru is putting on this persona willingly and is utilizing it to inspire others while chisato is being forced to hide her weaknesses because the industry expects her to be perfect

I wanted to expand on something I said in a previous post.

There's absolutely no harm in headcanoning all of the Bandori girls as lesbians, if that's what you want to headcanon, go for it!

But there's a trend in the fandom that drives me up a wall.

A lot of people have the mindset that "if you headcanon the Bandori girls as anything other than lesbian, you're an instant lesbophobe. You can't headcanon them as anything other than lesbian." I strongly disagree.

I don't see the harm in headcanoning any of the girls as bisexual/pansexual/etc. because in the end, they're ultimately still WLW. It's not like people are headcanoning them as straight, which they're not! As said, people can headcanon whatever they want as long as it's harmless, you can't tell people what to headcanon.

Also, this might be a stretch, but there's something about people saying "you can't hc the girls as bi/pan" that just feels really bi/panphobic :/

Please do not start discourse on this post, and please don't start discourse on this topic like, at all. People arguing over headcanons is not something I want to see on this site, period.

(edit 6/1): I'm bringing this back for Pride Month. Once again, headcanoning all of the girls as lesbians is 100% okay, but if you see anyone who headcanons any of the girls as bi/pan/etc., DO NOT ATTACK OR HARASS THEM, AND DO NOT START DISCOURSE REGARDING OTHER PEOPLE'S HEADCANONS. Everyone is entitled to headcanon anything they want so long as it's harmless, and again, I don't see any harm in headcanoning the Bandori girls as bi/pan/aro/ace/so on. Just don't hc them as straight, please.
