im using this as an excuse to gush about what ive read so far about ras bs2 so. there are some possible spoilers incoming!!

knowing my lazy self not wanting to translate the page back and forth, ive been like skipping through their band story and may i say that i made it to the good parts...

first off, i do know that chiyu's mom is comin back to town as it was in the band story synopsis, but like along with that they were i think invited to play in an advanced rock festival?? so yeah chiyu def wants to make practices harder, she does that, but i think when her mom comes around she starts to get angry; like okay she appreciates her mom's support (i think??) but what her mom does is like. tell her whatever she's doing is amazing even when it's not. and like when chiyu was younger she'd just tell her "omg you're playing so well!!" when the chuchu train knew that she didnt know how to play the instrument at all if that makes sense. sooooo i do think that she was angry about that, knowing the way chiyu is. she was writing a song for the advanced rock festival while she was angry, and unintentionally those feelings came out into the song, so it was a bit confusing to understand.

when it comes time to practice the song with the rest of ras, everyone's confused!! i'd be to tbh... i remember masuki said like she didn't know what type of emotion to put into her playing. thennn rei gives us a lil speech about how usually with ras' songs, she can like resonate with it within her body if that makes sense?? they're always "beyond her imagination". so rei tells chiyu that she can't resonate well with this song, and it's not a ras song; it's "a good song within her imagination.

chiyu didn't like that.

so yk uh she kicks everyone out the room... and theres like this huge GAP of stories that i skipped bc KNOWING NIKO YK IM IMPATIENT :') so when i do get back on track masuki's (through tears. i was mentally crying guys. i wanted to scream.) like "omg i don't forgive you for disbanding ras!!" AND IM LIKE WAIT WAIT WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN--

so i think ras may have disbanded for like a hot second- chiyu gets mad while everyones trying to confront her but i dont think she was exactly mad at them. she says like (i think her gacha quote comes from this!) "i wanted to change the world around me with my music! i tried! but in the end... nothing changed... everything was the same! i was still the same tamade chiyu!" ... i myself had a mental breakdown, then oh boy does rei want to add to the fun.

and i still have not translated rei's part bc im an idiot, but i think that she was saying stuff like "because of you chuchu, i'm daddaddada or i can daddaddada" or something like that and then OH MY GOD SHE STARTS CRYING. YES I KNEW IT HAD TO HAPPEN BUT SDKJFL:JDHBGTJYUKLFDXHRSETYJUILJK STOP IM GOING TO DIE. SHE FREAKING APOLOGIZES LIKE??!?!?!??! REIIIIHSDUFLSDJNVUISDKVHNWEIJLUWJ FNIO OMG anyways. yeah so uh "chuchu!! it's your turn to change the world!!" and i have not gotten past that part. bc i was doing this at like 8 in the morning and i hadn't even brushed my teeth so i had to go do that and never came back to it... so you know what i'll be doing for the next few hours!!! crying. crying thats what

edit: hahah no i lied. chapter 12 was the good stuff.

so like in summary since chiyu was having difficulty making a ras song, rei said that she'd do it herself. so she did, and like omg was it a banger- (coruscate -dna-! she didn't name it, but god she did such a good job)

while like chiyu was still crying about the "its your turn to change the world!" thing, rei shows her the song and like. chiyu says it was "beyond her imagination" and HERE WE GO AGAIN- REI STARTS CRYING BC SHE DIDNT THINK THAT CHIYU WOULD SAY THAT. AT THIS POINYT IM GONNA CRY TOO SDFHKJSDHLVJIBIWLEHFWUIELFH

anyways masuki tells her thats shes crying too much (BAHAHHAHAH I THINK AS A JOKE) and like i started dying laughing bc rei told her to shut up i mean hey i got my masurei content i could not be any happier whatsoever

and like im still on 12 i just found it neccessary to update this but. literally ras bs2 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

edit edit: so i finished!!! i want to cry though, the voice lines for the freaking last episode aren't working like YOU COULVE DONE THIS ANY OTHER EPISODE SOBS

but yeah so this is the best event story like ever. you should like, totally go use bestdori to read coruscate -dna-. if you need me ill be replayin the mv back to back to back

as for the synopsis for the band story, it seems that chu2’s mother’s coming back to town 😧 i’m seriously curious to see how this story pans out, and if we get any rei/masuki content! prolly not masuki bc i know she’s not a 4 star but. IM SO EXCITED!!! GUYS ITS RAS BS2 😭😭😭

and oh my god at first i wanted masurei so bad, because in fact i think they are the more underdeveloped members of ras, more so masuki, but then they already had a 4 star set so-

being completely honest, i wanted a masuki 4 star more, only because she’s the only ras member we haven’t seen as a child. and let’s be real, the only things we really know about massu’s backstory are that shes been playing drums since she was like a baby bc her dad played drums, and that she worked as a support bander throughout middle school and high school- or at least that’s what i know?? pls tell me if there’s more. i long for content of my girl

i’m not sure if they were waiting for the time to give her the touches on her backstory, buuuut whenever you find the time bandori i’ll be waiting :) i love the lil masuki, any little line you give her sets me on my feet with joy hahah

anyway TO GET BACK ON TOPIC RAS BS2. MORE THAN ANYTHING I HAVE WANTED ANGST REI EVENT WHERE SHE CRIES BC SHE JUST DOES NOT SHOW EMOTION SO LIKE this is the moment. this is where it all happens. and all i have to do is wait until the 16th??? I AM SO HAPPY HDKSHSKSJSJKS JUST AAAAAA i love you too rei and i’m so happy that you’re getting your deserved time to cry bc i’m assuming you haven’t done so in a hot second

using the context clues my english teacher would be proud of me for using, it looks like chiyu’s getting the other 4 star. and that’s okay!!! she’s my 3rd best in ras, love her, yet i’m a teensy bit sad bc chiyu not only has a good chunk of information in her backstory, but she always starts the arguments because of her “bad mouth” and i was hoping it’d be someone like masuki this time. maybe even reo (paREO, REOna, kurachi REO, it was meant to be her nickname) for a grand surprise but this is super neat!! i’m so hyped. i’m more hyped than you and your pretty best friend. more hyped than both of you and your families combined. it’s friggin ras bs2 besties.

to all the people who saw kurachi as karachi no you didn’t bc ms nikorinnie got autocorrected and never noticed it

i promise i’ll shut up abt ras one day,,, but can we just talk abt the domination to world single???

rei is just such a powerhouse vocalist i just. i know some ppl dislike the way idk “rock based” vocals sound sometimes but rei (well- raychell) is the reason why i love rock sm now 😭 she has such a wide vocal range and i think that the short version of domination to world showcases that so well, every part of it i’m like rewinding bc she literally nailed it!!

and shakunetsu bonfire, oh my god i didn’t think i’d like this song, but ooh wow look at that it’s literally my top song of the month on spotify!! i will literally loop the heck out of that song. specifically, my favorite part is the

“no, no!! manatsu no honki gira gira kamashite yarouu~~”

part at the end (yes i had to give it its own line it’s so good) bc of how well she sang it, she such has such a breathtaking voice and i love it for that!! take ras’ super duper funky rock music that i adore and bless it with rei’s voice and bang!!! you have my favorite band music wise!! (dw harohapi is stil my fav dynamic and chara wise 😉)

yeah sorry for the inactivity i was planning to come back on my banpaversary but timed it a month too early so hey it was my bandori anniversary a while ago :D i think like 3 years stuck in this hole and counting and i couldnt be happier! jkjk lol but the run has been super duper fun and its not ending yet :) i remember my old old bandori days of being a roselia stan which is just laughable now since i like everything the opposite of roselia- harohapi & ras- but hey im not complaining, my playlists are!! sir "boppin" playlist hasnt been used in forever because ras is like my only source of music nowadays :)
