• is it just me or has the animation improved? it's been a while since s2, but I felt a lot less "eh" about it now than I did then. it actually looks pretty good!
• similarly, if there's one thing SANZIGEN excels at it's live performances. their use of lighting & camera are [chef's kiss] superb. the Budoukan performances were all STELLAR
• I LOVE POPIPA ..... they rly shine the most in the protagonist role
• I LOVE RAS TOO, and them performing Beautiful Birthday at the Budoukan as a show of how much they've grown together made me bawl,,,,
• you don't know how happy I was to see Owner again bless her soul
• Mirai Train could be my new favourite PoPiPa song it's def up there, Avant-Garde History slaps solely on the basis that it was written by Sayo, Beautiful Birthday like all RAS songs is the best thing you will ever hear, and I already cried at the ending every time do you expect me to hear them sing the "yes, BanG Dream!" together and not lose it???
• SPEAKING OF SAYO I'm very glad they made her part in this season somewhat at odds with Yukina cause I feel like it's easy to conflate the two
• still don't know how Pareo changes her hair so quickly but all the more power to her for being incredibly adorable
• MASUKI ... what a giant dork
• I also love Rei a lot she's a person I wanna be friends with
• Rokka remains best RAS girl & tied 2nd best overall, she's so so so good I don't feel like writing an essay on her right now but maybe someday
• the fact that a lot of HaroHapi's fans are old people from nursery homes just does something warm & soft to my heart
• the bgm from this season!! I don't remember if they're all reused tracks from s2 but I do know I loved all of them
• the onsen episode ... pure bliss .......
• ARISA WAS SO GOOD THIS SEASON
• Tae/Rei dynamic makes me smile a lot
• I did miss seeing more of the other bands a little but it really helped streamline the story, in particular the PoPiPa/Roselia/RAS contrast in closeness & mindset, with Rei in the middle kinda longing for the same thing the others have
• THE MVS!!! OH MY GOD!!!! BOTH OF THEM WERE SO GOOD
• GuriGuri & Chispa being mentioned when Kasumi talked about the other bands thank you
• this may be dumb but I rly like how the different live houses are seen as different band's "home turf", i.e. stuff like PoPiPa staying mainly at Galaxy even though it hosts fewer people just cause it's Their Place
• Masuki/Maya mutual fangirling is the only thing ever
