• i really dont like moca, and im not sure why. in theory, i would like her. her relationship with ran, and also with lisa, are really amazing and i appreciate them, but as a character she is not at all my cup of tea. her voice bothers me, her personality, idk. i really just dont like her.
• hey-day capriccio is afterglow’s only good song, not counting covers.
• other than “a cruel angels thesis” and “no game” most of roselia’s covers are honestly overhyped
• pasupare’s songs are SO GOOD!! shuwa shuwa dreamin, pasupare revolution, tenka toitsu a to z, and hanamaru andante are some of my favorites but honestly all of their songs are so good!!!!! including covers!!!
• i honestly ship kaokoko more than kaochisa these days
• hhw is really tiring and i dont really like any of their songs or covers much? and the characters make me feel overwhelmed? normally i tend to like more plain/realistic characters like sayo, hina, and tae anyway. i just dont get the hype idk

I don’t know if this was done before, but seeing how dead the site is right now, I thought it’s a pretty good idea to start this mini-game.

It’s basically Two Truths and a Lie: Bandori Edition. The rules are pretty simple and self-explanatory. However, for those who don’t know what it is, you just think of two truths and one lie and other people guess what your lie is. That’s pretty much it.

(Feel free to steal this mini-game. I don’t mind LOL)

Anyway, I guess I’ll start this off.

• A) My favorite event in Bandori is “Blooming in ZERO”.
• B) I have a full 4-Star Roselia band, one for each of the attributes on my account.
• C) There is no bad 4-Star card for Yukina in my opinion.

I can already expect this post to be buried and overlooked, but I don’t care and I’m still going to post this anyway. Since the first episode for all the shows I planned to watch this season was finally aired, I just want to make a first impression on those shows because it’s a new season of anime and everyone’s probably clueless to what’s good or what’s interesting this season (plus, I kinda want to be a wannabe anime reviewer, but don’t wanna make a YouTube channel LOL). Maybe this long ass post will be of help to you if you decide to give it a read. Even if it doesn’t help, well, at least, I can say I tried and perhaps, you’ll get some laughs from reading LOL. I tried my best to not include any spoilers when writing this, so rest assured. If this post is well received, I might consider doing one seasonally (I highly doubt it though). Anyway, without further ado, let’s get right to it.

This season (Winter 2021) of anime is absolutely stacked; in fact, these shows are even better than the anime aired from Fall 2020, which was the best season of anime alongside Summer 2020 in my opinion.

Sequels

• Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season: I don’t have anything to say yet because I still need to finish both parts of season 3. Hopefully, once I do get to watch it, the 9.10 scoreline on MAL will be justified and it won’t be an overrated show rated ridiculously high by its insufferable fandom.
• Yakusoku no Neverland 2nd Season: It’s finally back and is still amazing! The only thing I don’t like is, there’s no more: 𝅘𝅥𝅮 Ato ikutsu no jiyuu wo Nononononononono 𝅘𝅥𝅮. Dude, I missed “Touch off” so damn much! That song was fire (pun intended)!
• Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken 2nd Season: Yo, one of my favorite isekai series is back, baby! I missed watching Rimuru-sama in action so much. He’s an OP protagonist done right. Marvelous show by the way! I highly recommend this to people who love isekai anime.
• Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season Part 2: It’s Re:Zero, what more is there to say? Otto solidified for good that he's best boy ever since he appeared. You know, this show could be one of my all time favorites, but effing Subaru is the reason why it won’t. He’s so intolerable as the series progresses and is just straight up irritating with his high and mighty attitude, but in reality, he’s just a powerless twat. If I could punch him in the face until he dies, I would (unfortunately, he can’t die).
• 5-toubun no Hanayome ∬: Waifu war is back, baby! Miku is best girl (noticed I didn’t say “still” because there was never a time she was not best girl <3)! Just for context, my main username in this game, 中野 三玖 (Nakano Miku), is based on this show, so obviously I’m very hyped about this show coming back. I don’t know why people are complaining about this season, the quality of this show has gotten better since the studio changed in my opinion.
• Log Horizon: Entaku Houkai: Not even trying to bash on Sword Art Online, but Log Horizon is honestly just a better version of SAO. There is better world building, better characters, and better writing (the author actually knows how to write a story well). Why watch SAO, besides it being a gateway anime for getting into anime, when Log Horizon exists?

New Series

• Horimiya: This show is hands down amazing and is my personal best non-sequel show of the season! Normally, I’m not that thrilled about the combination of slice of life and romance, but this show is an exception to that rule. I really like the main protagonists. Their interactions just put a smile on my face. Miyamura and Hori for best boy and girl of the season? I think so. Great adaptation!
• Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu: Sigh Jesus Christ, is there even a creative way to do isekai shows anymore? The beginning was cliched to the max, but this show is pretty good. Tomokazu Sugita the absolute CHAD is probably having a blast doing the narration in the first episode. Those were comedy gold ROFL!
• Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka?: This show is basically a worse version of Tensura. However, being a worse version of a great show, in my opinion, doesn’t mean it’s a bad show though. I knew it’ll be similar to Tensura, but I didn’t expect the premise to be copy and pasted exactly like Tensura. That seriously docked off a lot of points from this show for me, but I think it’ll distinguish itself from Tensura in the future. This show has potential to be another good isekai series, so I’ll keep my eye on it.
• Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi: Why is this show so goddamn edgy? Holy shit, almost everything in this show screams edgy to me. I'll give this show some credit for trying to be unique with a different take on the fantasy hero trope with the protagonist being a "healer". The executions of trying to be unique is being done very poorly. There's a ton of glaring problems I see with this show. The animations of this anime ranges from mediocre to bad. This show is gonna be a meme and I'm gonna enjoy the ride until the very end.
• Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun: Is this show trying to be Oregairu? Because it’s not working. Tomozaki is nothing like Hachiman. The main character’s dialogues are cringy as hell and he’s just straight up pathetic. I know that’s supposed to be his character, but I don’t like the guy’s mindset. Bro, stop blaming everything on life and just try to change the way you are if you don’t like it that much. Maybe then, life won’t be so shitty if you make the effort to try to change it? I expect this show to become a dumpster fire, but I want to be proven wrong, so I’m gonna keep watching.
• Ore dake Haireru Kakushi Dungeon: Okay, let’s just be clear here: You know it’s trash, I know it’s trash. It’s a pretty garbage show. It’s cliche as hell and I’ve seen these tropes thousands of times already. However, with that being said though, I’m still gonna keep watching it because it’s my guilty pleasure of the season LMAO.
• Tatoeba Last Dungeon Mae no Mura no Shounen ga Joban no Machi de Kurasu Youna Monogatari: Basically, what I got from the first episode is the main character is OP, but he doesn’t think he is OP. It’s pretty much one of those generic light novel harem anime adaptations. By the way, why is the score that high on MAL? It’s pretty mediocre to me. I might drop this if I still find it boring by episode 3.
• Urasekai Picnic: Urasekai) There’s a “reverse world”. Me) Okay... Urasekai) There are these strange monsters. Me) Okay... What the hell did I just watch? I’m pretty confused about what was happening in this show. So, is this an action version of Adachi to Shimamura from last season, but way way worse? That’s the vibes I’m getting from it so far. I’m gonna straight up drop this.
• Ex-Arm: Last, but not least, we have this show. I wasn’t planning to watch this show, but curiosity struck me when I saw the scoreline on MAL, so my dumbass decided to see what’s so bad about this show. Ladies and gentlemen, I think I’ve finally found it. I never thought the day would come, but here it is. There’s a show that is worse than the steaming pile of trash that is Pupa. Holy shit, this show is absolutely appalling! I watched about six minutes into the show and I just closed it immediately. That’s right, I’m not kidding. It’s THAT terrible! This joke of an anime broke a record with how bad it is on MAL with a shocking score of 2.68 on the day it came out and is continuing to go down as we speak LMAO. Do yourselves a favor and please DO NOT watch this piece of garbage. I mean, unless you’re a masochist and want to torture yourself, then go right ahead and watch this abomination.

Since my dad woke me up hella early today to go to the clinic and translate for him, and I’m the type of person that once they’re awake, it’s very difficult to go back to sleep again, I’m just gonna make a post to not feel bored LOL (feeling really sleepy though). I’m kind of curious to what kind of unpopular opinions the Bandori Party community have in regards to Bandori (you can talk about the AAside too, if you want, I don’t care).

I already know this community is civil and respectful to each other, but I’m just gonna put this here just in case. PLEASE AVOID USING AD HOMINEM AGAINST ANOTHER PERSON. It’s fine if you disagree with them, but please do not attack the person directly, instead challenge their opinions. Cheers! :D

Here are my unpopular opinions in regards to Bandori:

• “FIREBIRD'' is overrated. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge Roselia fanboy and I like the song, but I cringe everytime I see the Bandori YouTubers rank “FIREBIRD” as number one on their list of best Roselia songs. I personally think “Ringing Bloom” is the best Roselia song, and perhaps even the best song in the franchise. Hell, I even think “Neo-Aspect”, “Song I am.”, and “Determination Symphony” should be over “FIREBIRD”. With that being said though, I have no problem with it being top 5 in people’s lists, I just don’t think it’s unanimously #1 like most people claim it to be.
• The rewards you get from tiering, especially the higher you go, are absolute trash. I’m grateful that you get rewards from tiering, but most of the rewards you receive are just terrible. I’m fine with Bushimo not wanting to give out too many free stars, that’s completely reasonable for me. However, with how important skill tickets are in this game (if you want to place high when you tier) and how scarce they are, Bushimo should give out more if you place high in the event. It’s just mind-boggling and ludicrous that there are no differences in rewards whether you get top 10 vs. top 100 besides bragging rights. Here’s my proposal to fix this problem: Top 10 finish = 5 premium skill tickets; Top 100 finish = 4 premium skill tickets; Top 1,000 finish = 3 premium skill tickets; Top 2,500 finish = 2 premium skill tickets; Top 5,000-10,000 finish = 1 premium skill ticket
• Challenge Live is flawed. Now hear me out. I don’t dislike the idea of it, but my main problem with it is it’s way too tedious to do. Not only do you have to grind for event points, but you have to play the challenge songs too. “Why is this a problem?” you might ask. Good question. Well, first of all, I don’t like how most of the event points are allocated in the Challenge Live portion of it, but you still have to play Multi-Lives to obtain points. It just makes Multi-Lives obsolete and completely useless. For example, in the last Challenge Live event, which was “Blooming in ZERO”, I pretty much just half-assed “Unite! From A to Z” everytime it was chosen and it literally wouldn’t make a difference if I tried my best or not, since the points I earned were quite similar anyways. My proposal to fix Challenge Live is quite simple really: Just get rid of the Multi-Live portion of it and expand the amount of songs you can play and voila, fixed! There’s already Live Goals, Mission Live, regular Multi-Live, and VS. Live (which is pretty much Multi-Live, but better in my opinion), so do we really need another Multi-Live type of event? Free Live is already useless enough (tiering wise), why not just turn Challenge Live into a “Free Live” event that counts towards your progress for tiering?
