I see a lot of players in the community complaining about people choosing easy/normal in multi-live and ... it feels like a lot of people who are good at rhythm games don’t grasp that hard difficulty is HARD, like it’s called that for a reason. Multi rooms are sorted by band power and not difficulty anyway, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with choosing an easier difficulty in a higher room.
