“I did it!” Kasumi’s voice bounced throughout her room. She jumped up and held her Gamecube controller high.
“Yeah, you really did it. You really cheated.” From underneath Kasumi came Arisa’s grumbling; her, Saaya, and Rimi were still seated on a large panda beanbag in Kasumi’s room.
“Nuh-uh,” Kasumi’s finger jabbed towards the TV screen sitting before them all, “I won fair and square.”
“Sorry Kasumi, but… I think that might be cap…”
“Not you too, Rimi! Look!” Kasumi bristled and walked over to the TV, tapping against Waluigi who was on a podium in outer space. He was surrounded by ten stars and laughing. “I did all of this without cheating… tell them, Saaya!”
“A-ahaha, you know, I wasn't really watching when it wasn't my turn, so I—”
“It wouldn’t matter if Saaya was watching, because Rimi and I say you cheated. That’s two against one, so you definitely did it! Your win doesn’t count. Rematch.” Arisa was standing up with her hands on her hips.
Kasumi grit her teeth and a vein bulged in her forehead. She got an aneurysm as well. “I didn’t cheat!” The frustration had nowhere else to go, so she began farting without relent.
“Kasumi, you’re not doing this again. You can’t just get out of trouble by farting!”
“I’ll win if no-one else is conscious!”
“Rimi, get the rope.” Arisa snapped her fingers at Rimi without looking at her. Rimi sighed and crawled under Kasumi’s bed, coming back out with said rope. Her and Arisa both grab their parts. “Geez, you could lasso the moon with this thing… okay, Saaya, are you ready too?”
“Mario Party really brings out the worst in everyone, doesn’t it…” Saaya’s musings were mostly for herself, and she grabbed her part of the rope.
Kasumi tried to run, but she farted while turning a sharp corner and it blew her off balance. Arisa, Rimi, and Saaya were upon her in a moment’s notice, and the girl was bound up. They carried her downstairs and opened the basement doors.
“Any last words, Stinkbomb?” Arisa’s offer came as the three girls hoisted Kasumi overhead.
“I didn’t cheat!”
Down she went into the abyss, and Arisa waited for the tumbling to stop before she closed the doors.
“Wow. I thought it was just O-Tae at first, but Kasumi cheated too. With just the three of us now, hopefully we can have an honest game this time.” Rimi fell silent and began fanning herself, puckered from Kasumi’s struggling.
“Third time’s the charm, girls," Saaya placed a hand on Arisa and Rimi’s back as she said this, bringing the three of them together. They all shared a chuckle that died even faster than it started. They went back up to Kasumi's room in unison, Waluigi’s laughter flooding the house.
