fam has there ever been a musician/band whose music u genuinely disliked at first, but through repeated exposure, u got brainwashed into being hella down w/ their stuff

that was literally me and pastel*palettes lmao. theyre all close favorites behind afterglow as characters, but real talk... my ears got dislocated from trying to escape when i heard shuwarin dreaming the first few times. but now it’s lowkey a banger. u know what isnt a lowkey banger tho? fuwa fuwa time, which is a highkey banger. that song has like the coldest ending in the entire game and the clapping at the start gets me instantly hyped

then they got the yura yura ring dong, this extra intense idol electronic ballad w/ chisato and her ol thug head singing. and can we talk about wonderland girl, that song is secretly my jam when no ones around. sobakasu is just oozing w/ swag meanwhile lol

idk what it is with this group. the pastels’ music is hella lit and cute at the same time. their style is so confident + well put-together & eventually they just won me over. i wont lie, every time a pastel song or cover gets added lately, i get super excited to hear it

honestly I'm so glad the event story on EN right now is what it is. like you look at the Rinko card and you think "oh no this is gonna be pure fanservice on the expense of Rinko's comfort isn't it" but then it's actually the complete opposite - Rinko stepping out of her comfort zone at a pace that suits her, everyone being super understanding of her boundaries, the girls working hard together at the beach hut to help Aya out, and by the end Rinko is happy that she went even though she initially didn't want to ... and Himari got her beach day like she wanted too!

Rinko's slow progress especially is so relatable and well written, I've been in similar situations both positive and negative and I'm so glad she has friends that let her be herself but still give her a hand to pull her out of her little bubble if she wants them to

confession: being in this community really makes me wanna start a band irl sjkdhsk looking at the girls having so much fun and shit makes me lowkey emo cause i was in a band with my friends back in middle school but we disbanded because we all went to different high schools ;; so if any of yall that lives in auckland wanna start a band as well, just hmu in the comments ksjdhks :')

Haruka Nanafuee has always been swimming fuee for all his life, until an incident in middle school, where he stopped swimming fuee. A friend called Nafueesa suggests starting a swim club so Haru can swim fuee again. There are 3 other people in the group. Fueekoto, who can swim fuee but is not as good as Haru, Nagisa who can't swim fuee and Fueei, who is really bad at fuee. They meet one of their friends from their childhood called Rin who can swim fuee really well. Haru and Rin start rivaling each other, because swimming=rivalry. You also got Ikuya, who is also really good at fuee and Asahi...we don't know that much about Asahi's fuee skills. There is also Hiyori, dESPITE BEING JUST LIKE SOSUKE IN THE FIRST FEW EPISODES, gets hated on way too much to this present day
