Tsubame

I’ve been thinking about this for a while and the last EN event was a good chance to talk about it but I was too lazy to type it out so have this now

I’ve always appreciated Bandori’s writing. But not only in stories. I love how the song lyrics of each band are tailored to their respective outlooks and methods of writing like the event showed us. We can see it in the actual lyrics themselves and it’s not just a throwaway detail never to be mentioned again. Honestly thinking about that made me appreciate the lyricists more, especially Kasumi.

Kasumi tells Lisa that she looks for the kira kira doki doki in everyday things which is true, but that’s just her Kasurific way of expressing something that isn’t quite as simple as she says it is. I think that description can be applied to her lyrics too. Kasumi isn’t shallow or emotionally immature. In fact she feels really strongly and is in tune with those feelings—she’s just more about living in the moment and experiencing rather than reflecting on or analysing her emotions. So you get stuff like sensory descriptions of the festival in Natsunodon! which seem like fun and games until you look at the gut punch that is Light Delight, a raw unfiltered barrage of ouch and anything but superficial.

Ran is kinda similar but is naturally a more introspective person, so even when she experiments and writes down whatever comes into her head without ‘dressing up the words,’ her lyrics come across as a little more cerebral, while still being driven by emotion. Rebellious Ran is so good in That is How I Roll please appreciate her

Now let’s talk about the girl who does dress up her words. Heckin Yukina. Ran was lowkey roasting her when she was explaining her own methods to Lisa and I can't resist either because it's kinda funny to me (I promise I love her). Yukina was acting all smug in her card story, saying Lisa’s lyrics didn’t meet Roselia’s standards, but what are those standards exactly? Yukina may be a great singer but she is a drama queen and any song that doesn’t wax poetic every second line is not befitting of Roselia in her eyes. This is the girl who writes things like ‘In the depths of this dried up sea is a slumbering voice/Beneath your eyes, it resonates with your consciousness.’ Yukina I love you but you gotta calm down sometimes lmao.

Jokes aside though, it makes sense. Roselia is the band with the greatest desire to make it big. Yukina’s writing her lyrics with the intention of captivating a large audience rather than putting her spontaneous feelings into words. It makes sense that they’re showy. If she overshoots the mark sometimes (which I guess is debatable depending on what people are after), that’s cool because she’s still learning.

I don’t really have anything to say about PasuPare and HaroHapi, except that reading HaroHapi’s fluffy pure lyrics and remembering Misaki wrote them is super cute considering how much of a pessimist she is. PasuPare may not write their lyrics but I do like that they have songs focusing on specific girls.

In short, I appreciate Bandori’s lyrics and I stress that Kasumi Toyama is a good kid who needs more love bye

So I freakin' love to sing, it's awesome and fun and even though I'm technically in band I always end up spending more time practicing singing then my actual school related graded instrument. I think/hope and pray that I'm a relatively decent singer and I'm not just tone deaf and my friends aren't lying to me and I always wonder how other people would feel about my style of singing. It's a lot softer then your typical bandori/LL voice, and I want to know how other people would view that, aka the internets

Only problem is I ain't got no equipment, I'm broke and my parents aren't gonna buy it for me 'cause it ain't school related, probs not even for christmas. That crap is expensive.

So I guess the point of this dumb post is does anyone know of a way to record decent sounding audio with just a phone and some free apps? I'm getting kinda desperate here >-<

(Fin) Only one I won't do is 13, because that's basically impossible. I will update accordingly. I got this idea from this post.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀
1 - My best girl right now is Moca Aoba, but it switches between Moca, Hagumi, and Arisa. I'm far too indecisive, sorry~
2 - My favorite vocalist is Kokoro Tsurumaki, her singing just brings a smile to my face, as the band should do so.
3 - My favorite bassist is Hagumi Kitazawa, I absolutely love when I can hear her bass in a HHW song!
4 - My favorite guitarist is Sayo Hikawa, because she really lives up to her goals, her sound is most definitely unique!
5 - My favorite keyboardist is Arisa Ichigaya (her parts in I-I Never Said Love and Boom Through Summer AND Senbonzakura were all amazing~)
6 - My favorite drummer is Ako Udagawa, because while I can imagine she has a ton of fun while drumming, she takes it professionally as well (and really wants to look cool, like Yukina.)
7 - My favorite Poppin' Party Song/Cover is Only My Railgun, it never fails to get me excited and the vocals are nothing but amazing as well!
8 - My favorite Pastel*Palletes Song/Cover is their cover of Fantastic Future! I wish it would be released in the en version soon >.< Aya's vocals fit the song and its lyrics perfectly!
9 - My favorite Hello, Happy World Song/Cover is stuck between Koi wa Chaos no Shimobenari and Happy Summer Wedding, everything about these songs just get me instantly pumped~!
10 - My favorite Afterglow Song/Cover is That is How I Roll! (CRY CRY OUT CRY CRY OUT~!)
11 - My favorite Roselia Song/Cover is Passionate Starmine, although all of their songs are extremely catching and nearly impossible to get out of my head (and to play on expert, in fact x.x)
12 - I don't have a least favorite song, at all.
13 - I don't have a least favorite character either, they are all understandable, relatable and likable in my opinions and I don't see how someone dislikes any of the characters.
14 - I wish Bandori would cover One Room Sugar Life (Happy Sugar Life OP)
15 - An Arisa card with bunny ears would be great, make Tae's dream come true~
16 - My favorite event was A Rhythmic Beat: Fireworks Festival, all the girls looked so adorable in their kimonos and the way Saya held Rimi's hand because she was afraid of the loud fireworks, and how Arisa embarrassingly said "Ta-Tamaya..." because of its historical meaning, and how she felt as one with the band now that they were doing something like this together.
17 - Arisa and Kasumi, despite Arisa's Tsudere Syndrome, she still agrees with her inadvertently. Yukina and Lisa as of recently, I saw so many red flags pop up in the most recent event and it would be extremely cute because of how supportive Lisa is. (especially towards Yukina, along with poking fun at her!) and basically Kaoru can be everyone's prince.
18 - Stuck in the middle of Roselia and Hello, Happy Ẅorld! depends on the mood Iḿ in honestly.
19 - Ako and Tomoe Udagawa, how Ako sees her older sister as the best drummer, and yet Tomoe thinks Ako is catching up to her despite how Ako thinks she is behind her is just BLESSED. They're so supportive of each other! The Tomoe SOS Event was adorable as well, how Ako got to play the older sister and all~

I just realized how much of a weeb I am... listening to Senbonzakura while blow drying my hair and casually lip syncing the parts I know.

Bandori x Kagerou Project collab would be really nice

It's quite some time since the last time bandori collab with something. So I think Bandori collab with kagerou would be nice, they have really good song and it fits bandori's theme as well.

Here's my idea of what song to cover and what band. Feel free to share your idea!

daze - covered by Afterglow

Kisaragi Attention - covered by PasuPare

Children Record - covered by Roselia
