Happy birthday Himari!! 💕💕

I was hoping for a magical girl related collaboration one day for the game (was holding out for Sailor Moon since PasuPare covered MOON PRIDE so early)... and Bandori really went and combined my favorite band with one of my favorite old school animes about witches-in-training growing up (and yes, that includes the 4kids dub of it!)?

Especially since they're covering Ojamajo Carnival! It was always one of my favorite OPs to sing along to!

Darn it, my D4DJ hype made me completely forget about Bandtober! Here's Day 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22! Aaaaahh six days I-- This is going to be a really long post so feel free to scroll past it but there is some artwork if you want to see that :) (Only flat colored though cause I'm busy asdfghjkl)

Day 17: Meeting Their Idol

Nigira: Come on, Oro! We have to get to BonTraveler, it’s almost time for our show~!

Oro: I’m hurrying as fast as I can while carrying your guitar!

Nigira: Eeep! I forgot about that! Here, I’ll take it.

Oro: Phew . . . thanks.

(The screen shakes like it does when somebody’s yelling or drops something or whatever.)

Oro: Kyaa--! Nigira, why did you drop your guitar? You’ll be lucky if it’s not broken!

Nigira: I-I--

Oro: Spit it out already!

Nigira: It’s-- It’s Ran!

Oro: Wh-what? You dropped your guitar over Ran? Have you, like, never seen her before or something?

Nigira: N-no-- er, yes-- she’s my idol and I’ve always wanted to meet her but yet I’m scared to!

Oro: That’s . . . classic Nigira. Just go over there and talk to her!

Nigira: Ahh! No, I can’t!

Oro: Then come with me! You said it yourself, our show is starting soon, and we can’t have a show with a DJ, drummer, and bassist!

Nigira: I’m--

Ran: . . . Eh?

Nigira: Kyaaa~! She’s coming over here, Oro!

Ran: Hey. You two are from that new band, BonTekuno, right?

Nigira: . . . !!!

Oro: Yeah, that’s us. I’m Oro Kimine and this here is Nigira Okaa . . . she says you’re her idol.

Nigira: O-oro-san!

Ran: O-oh?

Nigira: Yes, you’re so cool and you’re so good at playing the guitar and I have posters of you all over my walls and this sounds stupid but sometimes I imagine you’re talking to me when I don’t know what to do!

Nigira: Wow . . . um . . . I didn’t mean to say all of that. Y-you probably think I’m the biggest dork in the world now, don’t you . . .

Ran: Um . . .

Nigira: See, you do! Kyaaaa~!

Oro: Wait, Nigira! Where are you going?!

Oro: Sorry, Mitake-san, I’ve gotta follow her. Nice meeting you, though!

Ran: (Uh . . . I was just about to say I really like her music . . .)

Day 18: Meeting a Fan

Shiro: Whoa . . . our first time performing at CiRCLE . . . that was really cool.

Ichika: Yeah, seriously! The whole air was sparkling~!

Oro: Maybe the stage lights were in your eyes.

Nigira: I know what you mean, Ichika . . . it’s like the whole world is magical, and all of the magic is crowded in one place!

Ichika: Hmmmm . . . kinda. It was more of a glittery sort of sparkle.

Oro: What are you guys talking about?!

Kona: Wait-- I know how to describe it! A polar feeling . . .

Shiro: That actually about sums it up . . .

Oro: What?! Not you too, Shiro-chan . . .

Nigira: C’mon, Oro! You’ve got to admit it was amazing!

Oro: Yeah . . . haha . . .

???: Omigosh, it’s BonTekuno!

Oro: E-eh? Oh . . . you were the one in the front row at our concert, right?

???: Aah! You remember me~?

Oro: Yeah, you were waving your glowsticks really wildly . . .

Nigira: Sh-shh, Oro-chan! I think your energy was great, um . . . what’s your name?

???: Kimori Oshi! I’ve been with BonTekuno since your first show at BonTraveler!

Nigira: Waaah~! We have a fan!

Shiro: Nice to meet you, Kimori!

???: Kimori, we’ve got to get home!

Kimori: Oh-- I’ve gotta go. Well, it was great meeting you guys! I love your music! See you!

Ichika: Wow~!

Kona: Polar . . .

Nigira: We have a fan! Someone who really likes our music! Aaaaa~!

Shiro: O-oro-chan--?! Are you crying?!

Oro: N-no! I’m just . . . we . . . someone likes our music . . .

Ichika: Ahaha~, group hug, everyone! I'll take a picture.

Nigira: Yay~! Everybody say "BonTekuno!"

Kona: You too, Oro-chan!

Oro: Wh-what? No, I’m good . . .

Shiro: Come on, Oro-chan . . .

Oro: Alright, fine!

Everyone: BonTekuno~!

**Day 19: Favorite Foods"

Oro's favorite food is sushi! I'm not really basing their favorite foods off of their characters (plus I came up with all of the favorite food stuff back in December), but I honestly think it fits Oro-- unique and fun but also simple and classic.

Nigira's favorite food is her parents' croissants! She hasn't learned how to make them yet since the family recipe will only be passed down to her when she turns 18, as per family tradition.

Kona's favorite food is anpan, or red bean buns! She says 'they're just so polar.' Nobody knows exactly what that means.

Ichika's favorite food is mochi! It's getting late so I'm going to stop elaborating on these lol

This one doesn't have an image since it's not a specific food-- Shiro's favorite food is basically anything! She's a big foodie like Nigira (and me lmao) and she loves food from different cultures around the world, which is why she loves going to BonTraveler.

Day 20: Childhood Friends

Shiro and Oro were childhood friends. When they met in first grade, they just kind of stuck together. In second grade, Oro made two necklaces, one reading ORO and the other SHIRO, and gave the ORO one to Shiro, keeping the other. She said (as it says in the picture), "I made these so everyone will know we're best friends, even when we're super old!"

In their freshman year, when Oro betrayed Shiro as I've mentioned before, Shiro took off her necklace, hiding it in a drawer to never see again. Oro faithfully wore hers, hoping Shiro would see and come around. Eventually, through their development in the band story, they become friends again, and Oro helps Shiro find the hidden necklace.

Day 21: Beach Gacha

FLAT COLOR AGAIN HHHH

I wasn't sure exactly what to do for this one-- cards, a gacha banner, or Live2D-esque drawings of all the members, so I just drew Oro cause I didn't have very much time. When I was finished, I was so embarrassed to look at the other beach/swimsuit cards and see that basically my exact ideas were in the Tae/Hina set . . . the pearl-things, the starfish, the seashells . . . but I hope I made it unique enough while still keeping the limited BonTekuno color palette aahahhaha (I really need to give them more colors rip)

Day 22: Instrument Swap

No drawing for this one although I was trying to get one done, but here's what would happen if BonTekuno had the worst possible switch:

Oro would be on guitar, since she has no idea how to play any instruments and she would fail miserably ahaha

Nigira would be on DJ, because she's not very good at multitasking and she would be super stressed out trying to do everything at once.

Kona would be on drums, since she has a really chilled-out and kind of slow playing style and she definitely wouldn't be suited for the high-energy position of playing the drums.

Ichika would be on vocals, since she's really fidgety and always wants something to do with her hands, and vocals is the only position where there's nothing to do with your hands.

Shiro would be on bass, since DJing helps her de-stress when she's nervous about a performance, and doing anything else would be hard for her.

aND YES! So! That was six whole days crammed into one post! Gosh . . . I'm sure this is the longest post I've ever made . . . I'm sorry for ruining your feed everyone,,,

Okay so Rinko first because of my undying love for her, then Lisa and Sayo bc both are great, love them and lastly Yukina and Ako love them too but someone had to occupy the last places.

Tsukushi > Nanami > Mashiro > Touko > Rui

Okay so this ranking is based on which girl caught my attention the most at the time they were revealed and a little bit of what I've seen so far in the game which is not that much since I can't understand japanese very well. Long story short the least likeable (for now) is Rui bc she got an attitude oh boy here we go again....

This was the hardest ranking because all of them are likeable but ofc my daughter has to be first, Rokka is so cute even tho sometimes her voice gets too squeaky but it's okay, little cat gremlin, Masuki and Rei are tied because idk which one to put above the other tbh, they all have their charm: CHU2's gremlin antics are cute, Masuki is just amazing with her tough girl exterior but actually is certified softie attitude and Layer's voice is just chef kiss

• Masae is a beginner musician, just learning how to play the bass for Chameleon. Sawa sees her as a younger version of herself, and takes the girl under her wing. As Masae improves with the help of the others (mainly Jitsuko’s guitar skills), she becomes more and more curious about the bad blood between Sawa and Nao of Sum1, leading her to discover some very interesting facts.
