Yo, I made a post about 4 stars, but I also wanna fite 3 stars.

Anyways, these are the 3 stars I find weird or off for personal reasons and hopefully objective ones too. I wanna know if it's my eyes (and brain) being weird, or whether there is something wonky. Let me know what you think!

• Himari's pose makes everything look weird
• something's wrong with Arisa's face???
• Aya feels like a Pokemon. Something about her face?
• Tae's face is oddly derpy, even for Tae. Maybe it's just Tae though???
• I know it's the lighting, but... it bothers me. Himari's face (her skin) is almost the color of her hair.
• Mostly me, but if you look really quickly, Kokoro's head feels weird due to the perspective/angle/pose.
• Hina has such a special pose... I can't tell if it's the pose being unique or if there's actually something weird, but is her arm alright?
• Same with Kokoro, Aya's head feels oddly bigger, but that's (probably? likely?) just the pose and bird's eye.
• Kinda same with Hina, but that pose is so weird it feels weird. I have to keep reminding myself that the human body can do that. Also, I can't tell if I'm being weird or it's the angle of her face, but her eyes feel weird.

Again, it's mostly me nitpicking. Some of these cards just feel weird at first glance before your brain kicks in.

CraftEgg, I don't understand . . . why couldn't you have held this out for the next event, given Afterglow a cool event with Ran + Tomoe four stars so I can use my killer Coolglow team next year, and then make a PasuPower event for the first time since White Beginnings . . . ;-;

Ran

i just...... love glasses ran so so so much. i absolutely adore her. she brings tears to my eyes when will she come home 😭 i don't even know how to describe WHY i love her so much she's just beautiful

the colours in this card are STUNNING, the brightly coloured glow of everything just stands out so much to me.... ran's pose and expression are really powerful and her costume is just. BEYOND words aaaaaaaa

there's a few cards that tied for this spot but i just had to pick this one in the end...... LOOK HOW HAPPY SHE LOOKS AKFGHHDJDHDH and tomoe and himari are there!!!!! and they improve the card even further because god bless the afterglow dynamic :') plus ran's hair looks particularly shiny here and for some reason that's a bonus to me. i love it

Maya

yet another card that stands out to me thanks to the colours :') and the pose is so unique and. her WINK!!!! i suppose i'm just a fan of the winter sports theme (or even just the whole winter theme-) in general tbh but like..... AHHHH the Aesthetic is absolutely perfect

df2 is the best thing to ever happen to this planet. ESPECIALLY df2 maya. she has her glasses on, she has PIGTAILS, she is WINKING AGAIN,,,,,, AAAAAAAAAH-- and the steampunk theme!!!!! and tbh i though df1 maya was unbeatable...... gosh

i kind of feel bad that this is the only three star in my post but gosh she could pass as a four star anyway??!! everything is just so SHINY...... i am a huge sucker for mermaid stuff i was absolutely FLOORED by this card when it came out and practically lost it when i discovered she was an event card. she's too good we did not deserve that (and i also seem to be obsessed with maya winking. huh)

Moca

MY FIRST EVER DREAM CARD!!! i absolutely lost my mind when she came home on jp i honestly wish i'd been on banpa at the time just to sob about it here 😭 this set is one of the most creative ones i've seen ANYWHERE - other franchises included - and. the things i'd give to complete all of it.... BUT THIS IS ABOUT MOCA she has such an exciting pose and again the colours are INCREDIBLE and just,,,, YES!!!! she sparks INFINITE JOY ILY MOCA

CHRISTMAS MOCA!!! i really adore the idea of all the childhood afterglow art on the (presumably) snow globes in this set :') and i'm so happy she came out on en when i was still new and had loads of songs to s score so i could grind stars until i got her >:D i just love christmassy stuff in general tbh but this is. BEYOND that love..... she's so happy so sparkly so PERFECT

i love all moca's cards too much i could have put anything here but i absolutely had to include this one because girls anthology is pretty much my absolute favourite event. beautiful cards/costumes, an incredibly creative story and my favourite song in all of bandori.... BLESSED 😭 this card just stands out so much because it's so BRIGHT and fun and creative and just,,,,, i've honestly run out of words i haven't already used curse my small vocabulary but. LOOK at her i just love her 💖

hmm... i'm having a long and difficult night, so i'm just gonna do this as a distraction. three favorite cards for my three best girls! images are sorted with my favorite on the left and my third favorite on the right!

masuki's was pretty easy for obvious reasons, and i was surprised at how easily i could pick out my favorites for the other two since i usually struggle with picking favorites for basically everything.
