Craft Egg keeps doing this. They keep giving me everything I want and more

Arisa isn’t usually the type of shy girl who has like, protagonist energy, and by that I mean she doesn’t tend to get moments like that time Rinko absolutely lost it at Yukina in Neo-Aspect for daring to hurt her best friend, or when Rinko raised her voice and shouted “I can play the keyboard!” The type of shy girl who breaks out of her shell and unleashes her power at important moments and leaves everyone reeling, who will heckin bare her teeth jumping to someone else’s defence. Arisa is much more comfortable showing her support behind the scenes and she’s always hesitating before she commits to something scary and I love that about her. I’ve always loved that she didn’t need that brilliant shining heroism to show her breaking out of her shell bc it was and is a more gradual process for her, which is incredibly realistic, and she’s fine just the way she is. But I did wonder if she’d ever get a moment to shine like that—she has it in her and I could see it happening if she was ever put in a situation that warranted it—and Craft Egg delivered

I’m probably reading too much into this and it’s gonna turn out not to be that big a deal story-wise but I’M EMOTIONAL OK

And Kasumi crying? Arisa being the one supporting her this time round? Yes. YES

Though I have to admit my feral shipping brain immediately leapt to ZEAL of proud’s lyrics when I heard Arisa’s line, “Because Kasumi was here, we are here. We are here now as PoPiPa!” and UGH. I went on about how Yukina could inspire Arisa to take action instead of hesitate in that one post and THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT MY HEART CANNOT I’m sorry but that’s where my brain went

Also. Did I watch the whole stream bc they played the entirety of BS2 with the seiyuu reacting to it? Maybe. GOD I HADN’T READ IT IN SO LONG I FORGOT HOW MUCH IT HURT

I was worried Roselia was gonna make me forget my feelings about PoPiPa but BS3 said WORRY NOT WE GOT YOU

Arisa being out of breath and stumbling and Saaya looking at her in concern before being like “Wait where’s Kasumi going” and Rimi stopping for Arisa and them smiling at each other hhh!!!

The song also sounds very nice . . . PoPiPa’s recent stuff has been good but the last song that really blew me away was Hello Wink and I was missing that kira kira doki doki something that Kizuna Music and Double Rainbow had. But I’m feeling it in this song somehow! Bless

I’ve been thinking about PoPiPa and Roselia’s joint live and if RauKure II is anything to go by we can probably expect Sousei no Aquarion plus one PoPiPa and one Roselia song in the encore when both bands perform together

AiAi has said that she wants to sing Mae e Susume and also listed it as one of her fav songs in this handwriting file thing that’s really old but oh well . . . with all the solos though that likely wouldn’t be ideal. She also really likes Star Beat (same AiAi same) and tweeted about it like two days ago and it’s my fav PoPiPa song so I would love it so much if she sang it pls . . . Otherwise I’m thinking they might do Teardrops bc well, it’s Teardrops and it’s really popular and gets people fired up

I would prefer Star Beat tho

But part of me wants Light Delight or Returns . . . they definitely don’t seem like the right kinda songs for this but I feel like AiAi would belt those high notes bc that’s how she rolls and I. I wanna hear that. Also Yukki had Light Delight down as a fav soo

As for the Roselia song idk I think ONENESS would suit Aimi’s voice . . . or Re:birth day since the name of the live is. The Beginning heh. They’ve been doing older songs in these encores so that’s what I’m running with. I don’t really have a burning desire to hear Aimi sing a particular Roselia song even though Kasumi is my fav vocalist . . . plus she put down PoPiPa’s entire discography as her fav, which is incredibly valid but not very helpful in this case sdflksdf

(Raychell on the other hand. I wanna hear Raychell sing every Roselia song in existence)

But maybe I want LOUDER. Maybe I do but WELL THEY’RE NOT GONNA DO THAT SO IT’S FINE. I’m fine

I’m sorry PoPiPa but as you probably all know by now, I have a Problem and it’s not going away

The Roselia seiyuu bounce off each other so well both in and out of character (them trying not to break character is the funniest thing ever) and I swear my soul leaves my body whenever I watch them perform, they hold too much power . . . plus I love their music so much more now so y’know

Speaking of music the RauKure II setlist was missing LOUDER again and I cannot deal with that. Every time they don’t perform it post-Noble Rose pt 3 I die a little inside,,,

But the 9th Live announcement saved me, PoPiPa x Roselia lkjfsdsdlf I made an inhuman noise . . . I wish I could go but I guess I’ll just be sitting here waiting for them to sing Sousei no Aquarion

I love how Morfonica beatmaps follow the violin glisses they’re so slidey and satisfying even tho sliders are my mortal enemy

I finally! Finished the D4DJ anime! And I could not get Brand New World out of my head it’s so GOOD Nonchan pls . . . Nonchan . . . stop making me tear up. So of course I had to throw together a cover of sorts! As usual feat. questionable recording and singing bc I have no patience but I also spent too long trying to get the first half of the piano part accurate to the original for no reason . . . But this song is just. Made for the piano

Oh if uhh anyone wants the piano track? Lemme know! It’s only the short version but it exists and I’m not too ashamed of it so yeah (Please do make covers it’s such a beautiful song hh)
