Day 4: Top 5 Afterglow cover songs

1. Lost one's weeping

I'm not gonna lie: this is one of the reasons I switched to Jp server. I am not joking. I always thought that it was nice to have all these cards and, of course, all these songs in the Jp server, but I enjoyed English stories and conversations too much to change. Then I discovered that Lost one's weeping was covered by Afterglow... I just had to at least try to play it once. So I got on the Jp server and the first thing I did was buy this song and play it. Afterwards, the number of songs I could play just made me switch completely to Jp. I still read English stories tho (I kept the En app), but my phone doesn't have storage anymore... I think you understood how much I loved this song

2. Asu no Yozora Shoukaihan

I don't think I have much to explain about this... the song was already amazing before Afterglow covered it so... just add Ayane Sakura's voice (Ran) and you reach perfection.

3. Don't say "lazy"

This song has everything to be amazing! I love the lyrics, even if it's not "from Afterglow" and absolutely love the way the vocals are done! Ran's voice is so pretty :) I can't help but smile each time I hear that little Engrish part "Please don't say you are lazy"

4. Rashisa

It feels so different from the original, but that's not a bad thing at all! In fact, I find the cover better than the original :) Don't even get me to talk about the lyrics because they are just amazing! The beatmap is also very fun to play, even if the expert level hurts my thumbs a little bit...

5. Aoi Shirori

This song is amazing! I was surprised it was Afterglow that had to cover it, but it was a really good decision... The result is perfect :) Also, do I have to remind you where it's from?

Day 3: Top 5 Afterglow original songs

1. Hey-Day Capriccio

This is just so nice! I've been listening to the full version of this for a while now and I am still not tired of it... The vibe of this song is amazing! I love everything about Halloween, monsters, ghosts, etc. so I loved the "6th Afterglow" event! Now it is only normal I love the song as well.

2. Comic Panic!

The beat of this song is just perfect for me! The beatmap is also amazing in expert and hard level and I love to play it. The vocals are amazing! Each member sings one sentence at the time and it gives a really nice result! I absolutely love this kind-of-chaotic part at the beginning of the song :)

3. Scarlet Sky

It's not only about the beat of this song... The lyrics of this are amazing and feel so much like Afterglow! I also ave to say that the beat is amazing in this! It's seriously an amazing song.

4. Y.O.L.O.

This song has such a good beat! It can seem a bit chaotic or messy, but that's what makes it amazing! The beatmap is definitely one of my favourites in the game :)

5. Tsunagu, soramoyou

Here again, this song is about Afterglow! The lyrics feel so nice and I absolutely love that reference to "the same as always" Itsumo dōri!

As a "thumbs" player I can't express how satisfying it is to FC Rashisa and Lost One's Weeping even with a lot of greats and thumbs that hurts :)

After Lost One's Weeping I felt like my phone might have died because of me hitting it 1000+ times in a row

I just created this challenge for myself since I was a little bored, but feel free to do it too if you want :)

I know doing a top five girls in each band means that they all get a place in it, but that's EXACTLY the purpose of this... They all deserve a place there, even if they are not your favourite!

Day 2: Top 5 Popipa cover songs

1. Kimi ni todoke

It's just so cute, so perfect! I know it's not the most popular song, but it sounds so good! It just wants to make me smile all the time...

2. Romeo and Cinderella

I was not a fan of this Vocaloid song, but OMG POPIPA MADE IT AMAZING! Kasumi's voice feels so nice in this :) I'm still not able to FC it in expert tho because of that little piano note in the middle of the song that I can't seem to get right...

3. God Knows

Excuse me?! This is so good! I have nothing else to say... this song is great and is fun to play!

4. Cherry bomb

I don't say that often, but this song is way better than the original! It sounds so great and so cute!

5. Senbonzakura

The beatmap of the expert mode is so nice to play! I'm in love with it. Kasumi's vocals are also amazing, especially in the verse/pre-chorus

Top 5 Popipa original songs

1. Returns

It might not be a "full of beat" song, but I found it absolutely amazing, especially with the weight it had in the second season of the anime... I also like Kasumi's vocal in it, but I would LOVE to have a Tae version of it, like in the anime!

2. B.O.F.

Why is this song so good?! I know it's not the most played one, but it still sounds amazing! At first I didn't realize Tae was singing too so I was like "How is Kasumi changing her voice like that?" It's when I went to check the lyrics on the wiki that I realized... I felt so stupid lmao

3. Mae e susume! (Keep on moving)

Here again, anime kicks in! I really love the fact that each character is singing a solo and then sing all together :) The fact that it had a lot of signification in the first season of the anime also give a nice bonus...

4. Home Street

It's so cute! This is one of the songs I took time to appreciate tho... The first time I wasn't so sure about it, but the more I would play it, the more I would like it and it would be stuck in my head afterwards. Now this song is one of my favourites!

5. Anniversary

It just feels so fun to play! At first, when I heard it, I wasn't sure that I would like it, but after playing it once, the song was way better than I thought and the beatmap (or whatever it's supposed to be called) is really nice to play!
