There seems to be very few people that like Merm4id and that makes me a little sad…

I decided to translate the first episode of their band story, since most people probably can’t read those.

My Japanese is far from being perfect, so tell me if you see any mistake, but I think I at least got the main idea of the story!

Rika : Uuh I want a break… Yesterday was too much

Marika : I’m here! Hey, Rikachi!

Rika : Hello, Marika. Today’s not any better…

Marika : You don’t look so good… and I almost slept through all of the lecture. I guess it’s because of yesterday’s all-nighter isn’t it?

Rika : And on top of that, we have a lecture first thing in the morning. I shouldn’t have done an all-nighter… I still came to school, but now I want to go home…

Marika : You’re a nice kid Rika. I guess today’s lecture couldn’t be helped. What do you want to do now?

Rika : I think I should just go back and sleep… But Marika, don’t you have a modelling job later?

Marika : Yes. I’m shooting for a fashion magazine today. When it’ll be done, I’m planning to get something sweet.

Rika : Good idea!

Rika : I want to do something really special too… Like have fun on a tropical island!

Marika : Seems great! A tropical island…

Rika : I never traveled, but living in a tropical country must be the best!

Marika : Yeah! I’d love to live like that.

Rika : I’d love to do that someday, but I’ll probably never have the chance… Ah!

Marika : What is it?

Rika : It seems like an impossible dream, but maybe it really can be done! Marika, look at this flyer! They are looking for a DJ to play at a resort hotel on an island!

Marika : Let me see… [ The contest winner will be hired as an exclusive DJ at the new clubhouse of the hotel. ] Working while living in a resort hotel? That seems great!

Rika : We have to do this! Together, of course!

Marika : Yeah, let’s do it together.

Rika : Then, it’s decided! We’ll just have to play cool songs, the ones we always hear at parties!

Marika : But it seems harder than that… Will we really be able to do it?

Rika : Whatever! Let’s think about that after trying! Wait for us, resort hotel!

(Switching places, we’re now in a club)

clubberA : Hey look at this! They’re looking for a DJ for a resort hotel.

clubberB : But they only hire the winner of a DJ contest right? You can’t do that unless you’re a professional.

clubberA : It’s just an impossible dream…

???(Saori) : An impossible dream… That’s true. Looking at the DJ’s booth from below, it really isn’t a place for me…

???(Saori) : I’m going home.

???(Dalia) : What’s up with this girl? She’s been looking at that flyer for a while…

???(Dalia) : A DJ in a resort hotel? This… Is really cool.

I've been listening to Marine's original song for a while now and the only thing I can think about is a Hello Happy cover of this.

Kokoro's voice would fit this so much.

Of course, some "inappropriate" parts of the full song couldn't be in a bandori cover... Senchou is horny

A question about D4DJ:

So I was playing the game and went through the list of songs and there's some songs missing? Like Horizontal Oath and Gonna be Right are not there...

Is it just me that didn't find them or they just aren't available yet?

I've been playing Genshin Impact for a week and it's only now that I realize that...
