So. Let's talk about the problem we have on hand because I feel like this is escalating and it REALLY needs to be addressed.

For those who don't know, one user posted a tier list where they put Kaoru in the bottom tier and said she should die, in addition to saying some disrespectful things about her (such as calling her ugly) on their profile.

A LOT of people (myself included) aren't taking this well. Telling an unproblematic fictional character to die for the sole reason you dislike them is just tactless and immature if you ask me. It's completely okay not to like certain characters, but telling them to die when they did nothing wrong can come off as offensive to fans of the character.

Unfortunately, this problem just got more complicated and is spiraling into outright discourse because of this one post.

To sum things up, you don't have to like certain characters, but you should be respectful, mature and tactful about it because you could hurt someone's feelings by badmouthing them without any basis. And I also saw someone brush this off because "the site is full of 13 year olds we're too old for this discourse" and that is EXTREMELY dismissive and rude. So what if a good chunk of people on the site are young and "easily offended" or something? Go read a book or something instead of insulting the community.

(edit): The tier list has been deleted! I was actually intending on deleting this post as well now that things are starting to simmer down....but I can't because the site won't let me. Oh well.
