Ok so I want to participate in this because Bandori became a huge part of my life. Also very long, as I like to write about this. abbreviations: GC = group chat IG = Instagram IRL = in real life friend Pic + Event
My first exposure of Bandori and my experience as a beginner.
So in 8th grade, I was very addicted to LLSIF. That meant that I watched a lot of videos on YouTube about Love Live as well. Because of that, YouTube would recommend me videos based on a similar idea of Love Live (which would be, animes that involve singing). That was when I saw a video about a new game coming out as an English version. That video, was about Bandori's release. So, after watching that, I downloaded Bandori. At first I did not understand because the mechanisms was very different about LLSIF. I also went through the stage of just sticking to LLSIF and abandoning Bandori. Now this was when I feel a big change. I was in a program at my new school during the last weeks of summer break that helps 9th graders get prepared for high school. It was lunch time and I was bored, and I didn't have any stamina on LLSIF, so I played Bandori. That was all in 2018.
How Bandori has changed my life
Now that Bandori has been a big part of my life, a lot of good things happened. Here is a list:
- Playing events is so much fun if you got nothing to do. That means also getting a lot of stars if you just stay in the desire ranking range and gather from the event rewards, which will help you get those amount of stars needed to do a big gacha coming up. I've been playing Bandori for a few times a day after my live boosts get fully recovered, and then play 3 lives w/ 3x LB. This has helped me get prepared for doing the Re:Zero gacha and the event, and now it will help me towards wedding Roselia in May!
- I made a lot of friends! At the start of 10th grade, my irl told me that they finally downloaded Bandori after only listening to the songs (this was influenced by me (●'◡'●)) and because of that, our bond got stronger. Additionally, a month before the pandemic started in 2020, I joined a lot of GCs on IG which help me gather new friends that also liked Bandori. Now I actively look for new GCs in confession accounts that focuses on Bandori fans who are looking for ones who share other interests with me.
- This is the first franchise that I got a collection of merch from. I've gotten a Sayo figurine as a gift from same IRL mentioned, lots of keychains, pins, etc.
- If I haven't gotten into Bandori, I would have never met the 7 amazing bands, or even going to the Rausch and/und Craziness DV in 2020.
So, what has Bandori taught me?
A lot of things, such as the different types of music genre, but this is the most significant lesson I learned. My fav girl of all time is Sayo, and she taught me to stand up for myself and to basically speak up. I had an inferiority complex as well, but after watching Sayo's character analysis on YT, I stopped having this complex and learned that no one will learn what's happening w/you if you don't tell them anything. This moment was also the main topic of a project I did for English class last year.
Anyways, I'm going to stop here before I start writing a novel instead. I love Bandori and its impact, and I am looking forward to see what happens in the next 10 years or so of Bandori's era
