Hi Allicat aka Ducky mom. Its been a long time

Me: I’m about to get my Master’s of Library Science and a library job, so I should probably buy an argyle sweater to help me look the part.

Also me: Chooses an argyle sweater from the thrift store rack because it has the same color scheme as Tsugumi’s, and because I really like her winter casual outfit.

(Being a librarian who’s into anime is weird. Since I’m blonde, I can guarantee you that most of my yellow blouses were bought almost entirely because A) they looked like something Mami Tomoe would wear and B) I really wanted to look as cool as she does wearing yellow.)

BANGTOBER DAY 8: LEAST FAVORITE GIRL

Oh boy... I debated whether or not to skip this question, but in the end, I just need to get this off my chest.

Listen. There's a lot that I really love about Hina - her character design, for instance, is among my favorites, and I think her interactions with Sayo are some of the absolute best in the game. Unfortunately, when it comes to her interactions with her bandmates... Well, she often comes across as rude or inconsiderate, ESPECIALLY when she's talking to Aya.

Now, I don't mind some playful banter between friends, but Hina's jabs at Aya often feel unecessarily mean-spirited to me. Even when Aya is obviously uncomfortable and asks her to stop, she doesn't apologize or even seem to recognize that she said something wrong. And over time, this really started to grate on me.

None of this is to say that Hina is a bad character, or that people aren't allowed to enjoy her. This is just my personal opinion. Thank you for respecting it.
