BanDori should take a page outta argnv's book and do more of those streams where they just play music and talk for an hour or so, they're so pleasant to watch sobs and very good JP practice

I'm going camping from Sunday to Monday, so I don't think I'll be posting those days, but once I get back, I'll make a post with some pictures that I took (they're literally all gonna be of the night sky and taken with my phone, so they won't be that great of pictures). Just wanted to say that.

ever since the sad fate in which akesaka satomi unfortunately left the franchise due to sudden hearing loss, (it was hard for to keep on performing concerts and lives) they’ve replaced her with shizaki kanon. i have absolutely no hate on this decision as it was made for the better of akesaka. if you ask me, shizaki kanon has a more of a deep voice which i actually really like, she sounds so sophisticated and beautiful when she sings (especially in blessing chord !! god she sounded amazing). but i’m not the biggest fan on how she sort of like tries to imitate the “original rinko”? if you can get what i’m trying to say.. it’s not that she’s doing a bad job at it, it’s just i like her normal speaking voice not the imitating rinko voice (when i say “imitate” i’m not trying to sound negative just using the term in a neutral way) her normal speaking voice where she isn’t trying to sound like rinko sounds very mature, like rinko which is a nice touch to it (not that akesaka didn’t sound mature in my opinion akesaka made rinko sound more gentle and soft)

couldn’t find the best clips but i think these clips are sufficient enough.. maybe it’s just me but if you played these clips and i didn’t know about rinko, i would’ve said these are two different people, they just don’t sound similar in my opinion, although i’m not angry!! that’s not why i made this, i just wanted to share how i feel. i don’t hate shizaki at all, to be honest i like her parts in the song a tad bit better than akesaka, she sounds so majestic in them i don’t know how she does it

HHHHHHHHHHHHHH so basically I have ( finally ) finished my art trade with Kokichi kin and damn OneDrive decides to not show my exported image on my phone and since I can't use the computer now I just have to post it when I wake up AAAAAAAAAAA I'M SORRY....

so apparently we own two guitars that I knew nothing about (we have four in total, only two of which I was aware of existing) ... I told my dad I tried playing one of the ones we have out once but it was too big for me so I gave up and he just went "oh we have smaller ones too" and I ????

anyway my point is I now have no excuse anymore to not sit down and practice playing guitar ... I like the idea of taking a guitar with me and sitting down in a park to play some songs, since the only instrument I can kinda play is the piano which isn't really the kinda thing you can carry around ghdkghdk

for now I'll make it my goal to play some easy BanDori songs! a guy I know also got into playing the guitar via BanDori and if he can do it so can I. I'll be like Kasumi just watch me

nevermind the fact that the whole reason I thought of it again was seeing Hyuusuke in today's argnv stream and being like I WANNA PLAY TOO ... I don't even like guitars ...

thinking about how in S1 PoPiPa's biggest goal that they needed the entire season to achieve was to play at a relatively small local live house, and by the end of S3 they're playing at the Budoukan alongside two very renowned bands with huge fanbases, musical skill, and production value, despite being "just" a band formed by five friends who simply love music and each other.

adding to this though I ALSO love that while yes, it was the Budoukan, in a way it was just another event hall that they didn't live too far away from and they got to play there because of a competition set up by the neighbourhood association. it wasn't the Budoukan because they necessarily NEEDED such a stage, but because they just happen to live near it and they managed to book it for the finals. it makes it feel simultaneously like a big deal and like something cosy that came about due to the love of the community, which is also a very PoPiPa feeling.
