A part of me really wants to buy some type of merch or go to a concert, but not only am I too embarrassed to ask my parents, but a small part of me knows that if I do I probably won't stop.

Is anybody interested in me doing a series of videos of playing without music? The idea is you could listen to the beat patterns if you're having trouble with a section of a song. Or I could do videos with very low music if that would be more helpful... or both!

If I can work out a setup I might be able to record my hands to help thumb players with finger placement, too. Give this a like if you want me to do this or comment your opinions below. :)

And with this post, I finally got on par with the days of the challenge, having said that for tonight I greet you with the presentation of another all-female fanband.

Bandtober : Day 15 (Rival)

They have taken the world by the horns with their heavy metal style music: these are the "Gensō-teki", five girls belonging to a prestigious school, the Zakuro Private High School. Inspired by the old and famous Hope's Peak Academy, this facility have many talented young girls in all walks of life.

The leader of the band, Emi, is an Idol who caused a sensation after a scandal that saw her as the protagonist during a clash between bassists, indeed remaining in the charts for a long time thanks to it.

Ayako has been a guitarist since before joining the group, always on the metal genre, such as to consider herself an absolute teacher since she started middle school, after 6 years she reached the highest peaks and the best techniques to play the guitar in a way that now only she can do.

Junko was recently accepted to this private school together with her twin Ginko, but both are the opposite of the other: one loves calm and flowers are her passion, so much so that it is known as the Floral Encycopledy, the other is the chaotic noise, so much so that other people call her Hannya given her ardent desire to be heard anytime and anywhere.

Wakana is an old acquaintance of Arisa, also quite similar to her, as they both attended the conservatory, but Wakana being one year younger than her, she took another path and focused only on herself; her first year was difficult, but she was recognized as the most gifted pianist in the region, leading her to experiment with new genres.

In the end we have Otsune, a DJ who spends sleepless nights in every possible disco, there is no place she hasn't visited or song she hasn't remixed, outside school she always has a pair of headphones on her ears with mashups that she creates herself and which she will then use with her own band.

They met the TIERGEIST during a benefit concert, immediately antagonizing them as they could not allow that group to be better than them in terms of sound, even if Mirai and Junko get along quite well with each other, hatred instead flows between Emi and Oriko it is clear that they cannot even see each other.

Bandtober : Day 14 (Album Cover)

Being the TIERGEIST a band based on the concept of guiding spirits, often mythological creatures, the basic symbol they used is the will-o'-the-wisp, title also of the same album that contains their essence.

Lucia, the one who proposes the name of the band, and Honami, the one who instead creates the band, are best friends since middle school. They were part of the occult club and they always loved the stories related to the Youkai, at the end of the last year they promised that, once in high school, they would create something together. That something turned out to be a band in the end: so they began their journey into the world of music.

To joke, among the various members, each of them is nominated with the appellations of various spirits of folklore: Ayaka is Tan-chan (abbreviation from Tanuki), Honami is Kitsu-nee (play on words between Kitsune and Onee-san), Lucia is Kara (derived from Karasu, a type of Tengu), Mirai is Doggo (well... this it's a pun too, I think you will know why, but as far as folklore is concerned it’s inspired by Inugami), and finally Oriko is Koneko (yes, it seems that Kaoru has taken possession over them, but it seems that Mirai doesn’t mind, since it’s still the Nekomata reference).

Bandtober : Day 12 (Songwriting)

[One afternoon - Villa Aihara]

(After school, the five girls met at the singer's house, organizing the lineup for a charity concert, experimenting with some new and original songs written by them. Meanwhile Oriko and Mirai were intent on teasing a post published in the social of the blonde, lying on top of each other near the closed futon, the third year trio were sitting in front of the round table in the middle of the room.)

• Ayaka: "The more I try to write, the more tired I feel..."
• Honami: "I ask grandma if I can use the kitchen to make something hot, so maybe we can take a break, we've been here for about two hours."
• Ayaka: "That would be great so we can accompany the pastries Lucia brought us when she came back from Italy!"
• Lucia: "Your eyes just lit up as soon as you mentioned my gift, and not just you, I feel a certain presence behind my back that is becoming more and more intense."

(That said, she turned to see if indeed the person who believed that insistent gaze belonged was who she thought. Her intuition was not wrong.)

• Mirai: "Are you talking about sweets?!"
• Oriko: "Of course when you do that, you have a rather childish attitude."
• Mirai: "Look who's talking!"

(The little ones fell silent and continued to fix some things on the web, meanwhile Ayaka and Lucia thought about the theme of the song, writing a few lines on the first thing that went through their heads. Time passed quickly and Honami returned too with a terracotta service with green tea and the sweets brought by the bassist, who explained to the two voracious of the group, intrigued by the sweets she had brought, that they were spitzbuben, Tyrolean shortbread biscuits filled with jam.)

• Oriko: "Senpai, are they typical sweets from your country?"
• Lucia: "Yes, I was born and raised in a particular region of Italy, in fact for this reason I also know German, as well as Italian."
• Oriko: "Now I understand a little better the reason for our name, I'll do some research that seems to me an interesting area."
• Ayaka: "Other than that, they are really delicious!"
• Lucia: "I'm glad you like them, maybe sometimes I'll make you some other typical dessert."

• Ayaka: "You make me blush... but I'm glad it's passed."

(It took them a while to get it to look right, but they got it all done so they could try and play a tune over it, so the girls were able to find their original song for the event.)

Bandtober : Day 13 (In the Studio)

Often to make appointments for the CiRCLE rehearsal days, Honami always passes, as she is the leader, although lately she sends Ayaka to organize everything with Marina. Sometimes it happened that their appointments overlapped with those of other groups, often the Roselia, but by mistake to the girl on duty who forgot to tell Marina about these, often finding the two groups in the studio.

Normally the first to come to practice are Oriko and Ayaka, not being part of any club, then Mirai comes once she ends up with the basketball club. Honami and Lucia come together, as the guitarist joins the other when she is done with the kendo club, while the other has to finish the commissions for the various clubs and the student council. The instrument used by the two of them are theirs, while Oriko and Mirai use those of the studio, not being able to carry them with them every time.

Once inside the studio, they start with a bit of warm-up, tuning when the instruments are needed, starting with some covers already done in the past. However, they often stop in the middle of the song because Mirai is out of time, due to her being too lively and tends to speed up, starting a heated argument with Oriko that provokes her on purpose. The thing goes on and on and often Lucia is the one who calms their rebellious souls, when even she can't, Honami comes to her rescue, literally taking the two girls by the ears and scolds them, with Ayaka put aside in a corner doesn't says nothing and remains to observe the situation. A typical TIERGEIST session in a nutshell.
