• tomoe is One Dynamite Gal and i'm surprised she isn't more popular?? it was a shock to find out she wasn't at least in the top 10
• poly poppin'party is real folks
• yukina/lisa is my bandori otp and maybe i'm not looking in the right places but i'm surprised i can't find any fics of them? i've heard it's a fairly popular ship, but then again i've heard it's tough to find bandori fics in general so...maybe i should try making some myself? haha
• it took me a while to get used to eve and rimi's voices, they're super high-pitched and they irked me at first (they're such sweet girls though so i couldn't totally hate them)
• i understand where the people who dislike arisa are coming from? but i haven't had the same experience haha you can tell especially in the multi lives that arisa is just a really big nerd who doesn't know how to interact with people--i mean, just look at how tenderly she says saya's name, or how flustered she gets when she interacts with anyone from any of the other bands! i just see her as a really big dork lol
• while they've grown on me lately, hina and chisato are near the bottom of my faves list because their behavior just really bugs me sometimes. hina may annoy me with her excessive bluntness but at least she's honest. i don't care for how incredibly selfish and rude chisato can be towards others, especially kaoru and aya. i'm probably just taking things a bit too personally in that regard though, since she tends to remind me of girls who were horrible to me growing up, and like i said earlier, she gets really good character development in the pastel*palettes band story which makes me not dislike her so much

I made this Rink and Ako edit a little while ago, so I thought I'd post it! Did not turn out as good as I would've liked but I tried.

Here to spread some good vibes (°▽°)

(That’s what I say, but I just want an excuse to express my love for Afterglow.)

Afterglow immediately became my favorite band after starting the game, both in terms of its members and its music. I’m not a music expert, but I feel like Afterglow’s songs have much more variety compared to some of the other bands. For example, That is How I Roll! is a pretty intense song with rebellious lyrics, but then they also have Jamboree Journey, which is imo a cute and upbeat song that highlights the fun of hanging out with friends.

And then there’s the members... All of the other bands have characters that I’m not a huge fan of, but I adore all of Afterglow’s members. With Ran, I like how under the cool exterior, she’s actually easily embarrassed and shows that she cares about her friends through little gestures. Himari is just super sweet, and she’s that one dorky friend that everyone likes to tease. But I also like that they added another layer to her (which I hope they would explore more) when she feels like an incompetent leader at a few points in their band story. Moca seems like a dopey goofball, but she’s actually really perceptive and sensitive to other people’s feelings, and she really treasures her friends. Tomoe surprised me a little - I thought she’s the cool and collected big sister type (which she kinda is) but she’s also quick-tempered, which gives stories with her in it a nice little tension to them. And Tsugu... My best girl... initially, I was a little put off by her character description, that she’s the plainest member and all. I say that because in a lot of anime/games, the plain characters always try to pull some crazy/idiotic stunt to make them seem more “special” which just annoys me a lot tbh (I understand the motives behind their actions, but just the fact that they end up causing so much trouble for the other characters...). But Tsugu, this sweet girl, she acknowledges that she’s plain but isn’t constantly down in the dumps for that. Instead, she uses the fact to motivate herself to work hard and support the other members as well as she could. She has no qualms with just being herself, and she in turn encourages others to be themselves. AND I JUST LOVE HER SO MUCH LIKE-

• tae deserves more love... i feel biased for saying this because she's my best girl but i haven't seen her get much attention out of the popipa girls... i love her personality its so silly yet mature? hard to explain but she seems so laidback all the time while keeping a cool and kind demeanor. i really love her for it

• i think popipa has the best songs, i love their rock sound (afterglow too but i prefer popipa in terms of songs)

• roselia is good as well but i don't find their songs as breathtaking as people make them seem? idk sorry jdfhs

• i find eve's voice really cute and a little soothing

• misaki's staged "confession" for kanon in the phantom thief event was so cute and made my heart skip a beat irl

• tsuguran is a cute ship as well as taerimi

• while i love popipa as a whole i am having a hard time fully liking arisa... i don't like to dislike characters and i know she does care about the members deep down, but its hard for me to like her completely, her mean demeanor is just ;_; ack why... she's growing on me a little though so i hope i can come to like her as a whole

how to write a roselia song:

1. start off with a calm quiet beginning, ending with powerful vocals that go into an epic instrumental break

2. have a strong verse, mostly with the lead singer, dont have any of the other members sing. that's against the law

3. before the chorus, always have a quieter part, sometimes with another member singing, for extra epic effect

4. POWERFUL CHORUS TIME!!!! MAKE THIS AS EPIC AND EDGY AS POSSIBLE

5. end with cool instrumentals, to sound cool
